PORT CHESTER – Two men from Richmond Hills, who were standing outside their vehicle on Interstate 95 in the Village of Port Chester following a prior minor collision, were struck and killed by a tractor-trailer traveling in the right lane, State Police said.
The victims were identified as Kamla Singh, 72, and 40-year-old Andrew Sookdeo.
The driver of the truck remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation into the 8:30 p.m. accident on Sunday, August 2.
Police said at this time, no charges of anticipated.
