HIGHLAND – Lloyd Town Police have arrested a Highland man for allegedly engaging in a violent domestic dispute where he is accused of assaulting a 30-yeaer-old Highland woman with a knife.

John Peragine, 44, has been charged with two counts of assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal obstructing of breathing in connection with the incident.

Peragine was arrested on July 14, arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $500 cash bail pending a future court appearance.
