TOWN OF DOVER – Police are actively searching for former Dover Town Supervisor Ryan Courtien, who was last seen on Sunday morning in the area of Waldo Road in Dover. Courtien, 49, is the chairman of the town planning board and also ran for Dutchess County Executive several years ago. He is a hiking enthusiast and member of the JH Ketcham Hose Company in Dover.
The New York State Police have set up a command center on West Dover Road and are being assisted in the search by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Forest Rangers.
A police helicopter and drones are also being used in the search.
Anyone who may have seen Courtien is asked to contact the New York State Police at 845-677-7300.
