FALLSBURG – A two-month investigation into suspected drug sales at a Town of Fallsburg residence resulted in the arrest of two people after authorities executed a search warrant, the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit executed the warrant at 415 Whittaker Road, where investigators said they seized quantities of cocaine, ecstasy, Xanax, fentanyl and Suboxone.

Sherri Sanders, 62, was arrested at the residence. Authorities said a vehicle left the property shortly before deputies arrived to execute the warrant and was stopped a short distance away. Floyd VanWagner, 58, who was in the vehicle, was also arrested.

Sanders and VanWagner were each charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, along with misdemeanor criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

A third person in the vehicle, Steven Williams, 63, was arrested on an outstanding petit larceny warrant.

Sanders and VanWagner were arraigned before Fallsburg Town Justice Jamie Kaminski and released pending future court appearances in accordance with New York’s bail reform law.

The Sheriff’s Office said the investigation was conducted in cooperation with the Fallsburg Police Department, investigators from the Sullivan County District Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations and the Coast Guard Investigative Service. Sheriff’s K-9 units also assisted in the execution of the search warrant, which was prepared by Assistant District Attorney Michael Schulte.
