WHITE PLAINS – A Port Chester man faces up to 32 years in state prison when sentenced in August for several sexual abuse crimes for which he was convicted by a Westchester County jury on Wednesday.
District Attorney Susan Cacace said 56-year-old Segundo Pucha-Carchi was convicted of one count of course of sexual conduct against a child, one count of bribing a witness, two counts of tampering with a witness, and six counts of criminal contempt. All of those crimes were perpetrated against a 12-year-old girl between December 2023 and October 2024.
“The horrific abuses experienced by this young child can never be erased by a jury’s verdict, no matter how resounding,” said the DA.
