MONTGOMERY- Orange County’s annual Freedom Fest is set to return Saturday, July 18, bringing a full day of free entertainment, live music, history, and family activities to Thomas Bull Memorial Park.
The event, which has become a staple of the summer season in the county, will feature live performances, a Battle of the Bands, food and craft vendors, a Kids Zone, a Bubble Bus, and Revolutionary War reenactors. The day will conclude with a fireworks and drone show finale.
This year’s celebration will also recognize the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States, blending patriotic themes with community festivities just north of New York City.
Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus said the event highlights community pride and remembrance. “Freedom Fest brings out the very best of our great County, from our patriotism and gratitude for our veterans to our strong sense of community,” Neuhaus said.
Orange County Tourism & Film Director Amanda Dana said the event is designed to draw families together through both entertainment and local culture.
Gates open at 2 p.m. at Thomas Bull Memorial Park, 211 Route 416 in Montgomery
