POUGHKEEPSIE – Hours after being arrested and charged with murder at an April 19 soccer match at Stitzel Field in Poughkeepsie, four men are the Dutchess County Jail without bail.  Hyde Park resident Sharnado Green, 29, and Poughkeepsie residents Peter Green, 31, Paul Green, 34, and Tyrese Hall, 21 are charged with the shooting and killing of 46-year-old Carl Chambers from Marlboro in Ulster County.

City of Poughkeepsie detectives, working with several other law enforcement agencies, made the arrests early Monday morning.  One individual was arrested at police headquarters, one was found in Hyde Park, one was taken into custody on Flannery Avenue, and the fourth was found on Franklin Street.

Tyrese Hall was assigned Ryan LeGrady to serve as his attorney for Monday’s arraignment before City of Poughkeepsie Judge Frank Mora.  Paul Green was assigned Claire Frink as his attorney.  Attorney Steve Patterson stood in for Frink at the arraignment.  Sharnado Green was assigned Kelley Enderley to serve as his attorney, and Peter Green was represented by Dutchess County Public Defender Margaret Walker.

All four men entered not-guilty pleas and were remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.

A preliminary hearing for each defendant is tentatively scheduled for June 15.  The prosecutors indicated the evidence against the four men will be presented to the grand jury in an effort to secure indictments against the four accused killers.
