RAMAPO – An eight-year-old girl riding her bike in the Town of Ramapo was struck and killed by a 2025 GMC Hummer in the early evening of Tuesday, June 2, Ramapo Town Police said Wednesday.

Police said the child was riding near the intersection of Ravenna Drive and Tiffin Lane when she was struck by the vehicle driven by a 34-year-old Ramapo resident.

The youngster was transported to Montefiore Nyack Hospital by Hatzolah Ambulance where she was pronounced dead.

Police said no criminal charges have been filed and the crash remains under investigation.
