ELLENVILLE – A man known to be a gang member in Middletown who is on parole in connection with a 2017 murder was arrested in the Village of Ellenville after an alert off-duty Middletown police officer spotted him walking toward the Village Motel in Ellenville.
At about 11:30 p.m. on May 23, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team, uniform and detective divisions, drone unit and K-9 unit executed an arrest warrant at the hotel. Juwan Dolson, also known as LaCapone and Wanny, 29, of Middletown, was taken into custody.
Dolson, who is on parole for his involvement in the murder of Corey White, is wanted on a felony of conspiracy in Middletown, where he was turned over to that city’s police department.
