WOODBOURNE – A 17-year-old youth has been charged with arson, burglary and criminal mischief in connection with a fire that caused extensive fire and smoke damage to a bungalow in Woodbourne.
The fire, on April 19, was determined to have been set intentionally and was investigated by Sullivan County Fire investigators, Town of Fallsburg Police and an Orange County Sheriff’s K-9 unit.
The teen whose name was not disclosed because of his age, was arrested on May 2, arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a Sullivan County Family Court appearance at a later date.
