CAMPBELL HALL – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash with two SUVs in Campbell Hall on Monday afternoon, May 4 as Kevin Crawford, 73, of Chester.
Deputies said that at around 1:40 p.m., the collision occurred on County Route 51 and County Route 8 in the Town of Hamptonburgh.
A preliminary investigtion found that the motorcycle was traveling north on County Route 51 when it entered the intersection of County Route 8 (Sarah Wells Trail) and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
Crawford was transported to Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, where he later died from his injuries.
