MONTICELLO – Scott Schulte, who has served as Sullivan County Commissioner of Emergency Services, has resigned from the post. He gave two weeks’ notice that he was stepping down.
County spokesman Dan Hust said county policy precludes any discussion about his departure except to confirm that he has stepped down.
Schulte held the position for three years and received nothing but rave reviews about his performance as he oversaw all aspects of emergency services in the county.
