MONTICELLO- The Sullivan County Youth Bureau is inviting local organizations, schools, and municipalities to apply for funding to support youth programming in 2026.

According to the bureau, the Sullivan County Legislature has allocated $200,000 to be distributed to programs serving young people across the county.

Youth Bureau Director Cathie Paci said the funding is intended to support activities that benefit children and teens throughout the remainder of the year.

Eligible applicants include community-based organizations, nonprofits, school districts and municipalities.  Programs must serve at least ten individuals under the age of 21 between May 1 and December 31, 2026, and focus on areas such as physical and emotional health, academic achievement, community connections, resilience, or access to services.

Priority will be given to proposals that include intergenerational activities, youth leadership development, family-centered programming, conflict resolution, and efforts supporting marginalized youth.

Proposals must be submitted by April 10.  Additional information is available through the Sullivan County Office of Purchasing & Central Services.
