NEW ROCHELLE – Police in New Rochelle have arrested a 28-year-old New Rochelle woman on a felony assault charge in connection with a domestic dispute that took place at 12 Church Street at 6:30 a.m. on April 1.

During that incident, a 31-year-old man sustained a puncture wound to his upper thigh. He was treated at the scene for significant blood loss and transported to a hospital where he underwent surgery.

At about 8:35 p.m. on the same date, police took his domestic partner, Ljahnee Simmons was taken into custody without incident.

The victim’s name was withheld by police.
