MONTICELLO – Matt Russo, who disappeared on June 18th, 2023 after walking away from Garnet Health Medical Center Catskills, would have turned 40 years old on March 31st. His parents, Dawn and Marc Russo, wanted to ask the public if they knew anything about his whereabouts, to reach out to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office or Hope Alive 845.
Dawn Russo is very upset because she thinks her son is dead.”I just want to bring closure. And God willing, someone will come forward.”
Mark Russo says if you know anything, please come forward and not be afraid of repercussions. “Whether they find him or not, alive or dead, hopefully alive. But if he’s found deceased, well, it’s still closure.”
Sullivan County Sheriff Mike Schiff says that if you are concerned about your safety, you can provide information about Russo’s whereabouts without giving your name.
“No matter how big or small that information is. It might be what helps us solve this case and bring closure for two parents who are so distraught,” the sheriff said.
