NEW ROCHELLE – A 31-year-old man suffered a puncture wound to his upper though where he lost a significant amount of blood and underwent surgery at a local hospital. New Rochelle Police said he is currently listed in stable condition.
Police took a 28-year-old woman into custody without incident following the 6:30 a.m. incident on Wednesday, April 1.
Police are investigating the incident as a domestic matter.
They said the exact circumstances as to how the victim was injured, remains under investigation.
Charges against the suspect are being evaluated and will be determined upon completion of the investigation.
