‘A Cowboy’s Dream’ is headed to Brewster today through a magical journey through the most beloved tunes of the west thanks to the Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition and Brewster’s own Ernie Sites also known as the “yodeling cowboy.”

The former rodeo cowboy was raised on a family ranch in southern Idaho.  He combines traditional and original Western singing, songwriting, yodeling, cowboy poetry, storytelling and trick roping demonstrations with his own personal brand of western humor and wit to entertain audiences of all ages.

Sites has an iconic career in music and was a founding member of the Western Music Association. He has performed on CBS, PBS, TNN, and BBC, playing alongside famed musical talents such as Bonnie Raitt, Gene Autry, The Auctioneer, LeRoy Van Dyke, Jim Stafford, Mo Bandy, John Anderson, John Mitchell Montgomery, David Grisman, Chris LeDoux, Rex Allen, Rusty Richards, Patsy Montana, Sons of the Pioneers, Don Edwards, Riders in the Sky and Michael Martin Murphy.

Saturday’s concert gets underway at 7 p.m. at the Old Town Hall Theater in Brewster. Tickets cost $25.

A “Kiddie Roundup” Special Family Matinee Edition of the show takes place on Sunday at 2 p.m. with a donation of $10 per ticket.
