GARRISON- An early morning crash on Route 9 and Snake Hill Road sent three people to the hospital Friday.
Nine-one-one calls at 6:30 a.m. sent members of the Putnam Sheriff’s Department, Garrison Fire Department, Garrison and Philipstown Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and a Putnam Empress Paramedic to the busy intersection.
The Sheriff’s Department said vehicles operated by Saada Abuhamda, 51, of Hopewell Junction and Noel Clarke, 64, of Poughkeepsie, collided.
Both drivers and a passenger in Abuhamda’s auto, Michael Butchar, 21, of Garnerville in Rockland County were transported to Hudson Valley Hospital Center at Peekskill-Cortlandt with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged and were towed from the scene.
Authorities said roads were wet and slick at the time which attributed to the crash.
