TOWN OF WALLKILL – Two men have been arrested by Wallkill Town Police following an investigation into an overnight fire at a premise at 161 Ridgewood Avenue.
Police were called to a report of a fire on Wednesday, February 25 and following an investigation by det. Andre Frrontis, the two were arrested and charged with burglary and criminal mischief.
Joseph Rhein, 33, of Wallkill, was arrested on March 1 and remanded to the Orange County Jail on bail.
Joseph Calderon, 47, a City of Middletown Resident, was arrested on February 25 and remanded without bail.
Town police were assisted by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office ands the Hudson Valley Arson and Explosives Task Force.
The investigation is continuing.
