ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON – The Bard College Gala, scheduled for March 26, has been posted.
The announcement was made in a two-sentence memo to alumni on Tuesday signed by Roland Augustine, trustee and James Cox Chambers, Class of 1981, chairman of the board of trustees. Both men serve as gala cochairs.
There was no explanation for the postponement.
Speculation is that it may have to do with the ties between College President Leon Botstein and the late Jeffrey Epstein, the infamous pedophile. Mid-Hudson News has asked a college spokesperson for an explanation for the delayed event, but has not received a response one as of this posting.
