HUDSON VALLEY- Residents throughout the Hudson Valley are being encouraged to send handwritten notes of gratitude to people in Minneapolis and across Minnesota in recognition of their defense of democracy.
Organizers with Plus One announced Friday that community members are invited to “write a handwritten note from the heart” and drop off letters or cards by Friday, Febuary 20, at one of 13 collection sites throughout the district.
Local drop-off locations include Bob’s Diner in Brewster, Split Rock Books in Cold Spring, 43 June Road in North Salem and Mimi’s Coffee House in Mount Kisco.
Plus One organizers said they will address, stamp and mail all collected letters to recipients in the greater Minneapolis area.
