WASSAIC – Twenty-seven-year-old Alexis Caron of Wassaic in Dutchess County was arrested by State Police conducting a warrant sweep on the eastern side of the county. Caron was wanted on a warrant issued by the Town of Amenia Justice Court.
When police apprehended her on Friday, they learned that she had an active warrant from Torrington, Connecticut, for negligent homicide.
She was charged with misdemeanor bail jumping, arraigned in the Town of Amenia Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail to await extradition to Connecticut.
