Flowers bailed out of Connecticut jail

TORRINGTON, CT – Frank Flowers, the man commonly referred to as “Santa” has been released from jail in Connecticut after being extradited from the Dutchess County Jail in New York last week.  Flowers, 53, had been in the Dutchess County Jail after being arraigned on a felony domestic violence charge involving the mother of one of his children.

When his bail was posted, he was released and subsequently arraigned in Poughkeepsie City Court on a felony fugitive warrant from Connecticut, where he had been involved in domestic violence incidents with the mother of another of his children.

Flowers was extradited to Connecticut to answer the felony charge of criminal violation of a restraining order on October 15, 2025, issued on behalf of his Connecticut victim.  The charge is punishable by one-to-five years in prison and up to $5,000 in fines.

Flowers was sent to jail in Connecticut with a $10,000 bond.  He was released after posting the seven percent cash bail, with a subsequent court date of February 11, 2026, in Torrington, CT.
