TOWN OF WALLKILL -Police have arrested a Middletown couple for allegedly leaving their four-month-old son in their unlocked vehicle while they went shopping at 300 North Galleria Drive in the Town of Wallkill.

The incident occurred minutes before 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Bhricella Sisalima-Gualan, 19, and Carlos Fares Mascote, 23, were charged with endangering the welfare of a child and issued an appearance ticket returnable to Wallkill Justice Court.

Orange County Child Protective Services was also notified.
