MONTICELLO – The Sullivan County Legislature Thursday appointed a charter review commission.

Legislature Chairwoman Nadia Radjz was pleased the study will be moving ahead.

“It’s about time. We have been talking about this since last year. We have been kicking this can down the road,” she told fellow lawmakers.

The county must form a charter review commission every 10 years and recommend any changes that it deems appropriate to the county legislature.

The last commission was held in 2016.
