HORTONVILLE – Ten people were injured early Sunday evening when a staircase outside the ski chalet at Villa Roma Resort in Hortonville collapsed.
First responders said the structure collapsed on the second floor.
Eight people were transported to the hospital in Callicoon and two were taken to Garnet Health Medical center Catskills in Harris.
The conditions of the individuals were not immediately known.
It had snowed for most of the day with several inches of accumulation.
State Police are investigating the incident.
