TOWN OF WAPPINGER – In anticipation of another round of snow today (Sunday), Wappinger Town Supervisor Joseph Cavaccini is activating the Wappinger Town from 5 AM to 5 PM on January 18, 2026.

“The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office will continue to enforce the ordinance during the next round of snow coming our way,” Cavaccini said, adding, “Please make sure items such as garbage bins and basketball hoops are kept off of roadways.”

The Wappinger Town Highway Department personnel will continue working to keep roadways open, according to Cavaccini.
