MONROE – A state trooper has been transported to Westchester Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries after his marked troop vehicle was involved in a head-on crash with a Honda while his vehicle was stopped in the area of 277 Seven Springs Mountain Road in the Town of Monroe.
The collision occurred at around 8:45 p.m. on Monday, December 15.
The trooper was inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The driver of the Honda reported no injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
