Forty-nine years of holiday tradition

CARMEL- The tradition continued for the Lotrecchiano clan of Carmel when the family’s patriarch 91-year-old Al and his bride of 65 years Dimmy rounded up their children, grandchildren and extended family for a trip to Connecticut in order to harvest the holiday trees.

Saturday marked the 49th consecutive year that the tradition took place for the lifelong resident of Putnam County.

Lotrecchiano noted: “Our life is full.”
