KINGSTON – The Ulster County CSEA unit that represents county employees has a new contract as the county legislature has approved the four-year pact.

The agreement, with annual three percent raises, is retroactive to January 1, 2025 and extends to December 311, 2028 and applies to all 870 workers.

There are incremental step increases across several departments and incudes updates to call-in pay, uniform and meal allowances, bereavement leave, and a new take-home vehicle policy.

“This agreement reflects our strong commitment to the well-being of Ulster County’s hardworking employees and their families, and to addressing disparities that have long existed,” said County Executive Jen Metzger.

CSEA Unit 8950 President Tina Buono said the agreement “is a step forward in recognizing the pay disparities throughout our titles and provides significant life sustaining and necessary wage increases to our members.”
