MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. — July 30, 2026 — Gan Jing World (GJW), an independent, family-safe video streaming and content sharing platform, today announced that New York State Assemblymember Paula Elaine Kay has issued an official Assembly proclamation in honor of the company and the winners of its #BeKindBeCool Video Awards, presented ahead of a landmark celebration in Times Square, New York City.

The proclamation recognizes Gan Jing World as “a tech company based in Middletown, New York,” dedicated to “promoting kindness, respect and trust” and “reconnecting people with morals and traditions through its digital platform.” On July 30, the company will host what the proclamation calls “a landmark celebration of kindness in Times Square,” honoring the winners of the global awards.

According to the proclamation, the contest showcases “acts of kindness from more than 50 countries” — making “a significant impact in the fight against bullying and promoting kindness among schools, communities and individuals across the globe.”

Assemblymember Kay highlighted that “schools from across New York State have actively participated” in the movement and “are among the winners,” with educators praising its “profound and positive influence on children.”

Technology in Service of Kindness

The proclamation also credits Gan Jing World's “Ethical AI technologies — powered by advanced deep learning models” — with helping “ensure a safe and uplifting digital space by filtering harmful material and promoting positive content,” empowering individuals, especially youth, to build meaningful connections.

The proclamation adds the New York State Assembly to a growing list of officials recognizing Gan Jing World's kindness initiative, which includes New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, and Vermont Governor Phil Scott.

The July 30 event will feature award presentations, bringing together leaders and communities to celebrate what the proclamation calls “the transformative power of kindness.” Selected winning videos and artwork will be featured on a billboard in New York City's Times Square, part of a movement that continues to grow each year and reach audiences around the world.
