兒子是去年（2024年）考上飛天學校的。他太喜歡那個環境了，週末放假也不回來，直到放年假，才讓接他回來。
My son was admitted to Fei Tian last year. He liked that environment so much that he wouldn't come back during the weekends. He only let me take him back home for the annual vacation.
下車時有點兒落雨，我剛把傘撐開，他就主動接過傘，給我們兩人撐起，有意往我的方向倒，不希望雨落在我肩頭。那一刻，我好感動。他彷彿一下子長大了。
It was light rain when we got off the car. As soon as I opened the umbrella, he initiated to take the umbrella and hold it up for us. He deliberately moves the umbrella to my side and didn't want the rain falling on my shoulders. At that moment, I was so touched. He seemed to have grown up and he began to think about others.
問題他想吃點兒什麼，他說都行，現在羊肉火鍋也能吃了。我又好開心。之前他不愛吃肉，處在張身體階段，這挑食著實曾讓我苦惱。
I asked him what he wanted to eat for dinner, he said anything was fine, and now mutton hot pot is also acceptable. I'm so happy. He didn't like meat before. He is still in the growth stage; His picky eating has really bothered me for a long time.
還發現他中文提高了很多，經常打開學校發的掌上電腦，自己學寫中文。正體字的《轉法輪》基本能讀下來了。之前怪我懈怠，在美國長大的兒子變得滿口英文，說中文鬧過好多笑話。真是慶幸，他又找回了自己的中華根。
I also found that his Chinese has improved a lot. He often opens the tablet issued by the school and learns to write Chinese by himself. He can basically read "Zhuan Falun" in traditional Chinese. It is our native language; I used to blame me for not teaching him well. As the 2nd generate of American immigration, he became fluent in English, but when he spoke Chinese, he made many jokes. Fortunately, he has found his roots again.

發現他總看掌上電腦，問他看什麼呢，他說是故事書，多是關於中國古代那些千古英雄人物的，是學校老師給選的。那是在往腦子裡裝傳統文化中的優秀品質啊！
I found that he was always looking at tablet and asked him what he was reading. He said story books chosen by teacher, mostly about Chinese traditional heros of good values. That means he was put the excellent qualities of traditional moral in his mind!
也因此我注意到兒子更能吃苦了。帶他出去玩兒，回來晚了，他還堅持把當天該練的舞蹈基本功練完，該學的法學完，該煉的功煉完。之前雖然他也自覺、也乖，但如此自律是沒有的。
I also noticed that he is more able to endure hardships. During the traveling in vacation or when we came back late, he still insisted on finishing the basic dance technique practice which is his daily routine, and also the Falun DaFa daily routine reading, and the Falun DaFa daily routine exercises practice. Although he was a good boy before, he did not have such self-discipline, and it also made me see the gap between him and let me more diligent.
學校還讓假期家長督促孩子做些家務，兒子幾乎每天都非常主動的幫我。
The Fei Tian also asked parents to supervise the students to do some housework during summer break, and He took the initiative to help me almost every day.
這些生活中的細微變化反映了他心上的變化，是飛天學校為培養他成為未來的藝術家打的好基礎、好鋪墊，對一個孩子來說一生受益無窮，是最讓我感動的。
These subtle changes in life reflect the changes in his heart. Fei Tian has laid a good foundation and paved the way for him to become an artist in the future. These are endless benefits to him for his whole life. This is what touches me the most.

俗話說： “筋長一寸，壽長十年”，練中國古典舞對人身體益處非常大。看著兒子踢腿時，修長舒展的身姿，慨歎中國古典舞把神造人體之美展現到極致，基本功訓練都美得如此令人感動。現在更體悟到神韻藝術總監帶著這些孩子，既反迫害救人、復興中華傳統文化，同時對這些孩子是多大的造化啊！其中還有很深的內涵，我們未必盡知，要慢慢體悟。
As the saying goes: "One inch of tendon grow, ten years of life increase." Practicing Chinese classical dance is very beneficial to people's health. Watching my son's slender and stretched figure when he was doing kicking practice, I sighed that Chinese classical dance shows the beauty of the human body created by the Creator to the extreme, even the basic skills training is so beautiful and touching. Now I realize performing in Shen Yun not only combats the persecution, saves lives, and revives traditional Chinese culture, but a big mercy to these students! There are also deep connotations and benefits, which we may not all know, and we must slowly understand it.
我曾聽過有舞者跟我描述，他們身體筋脈打開後，一天不練會不舒服。兒子說他體會過基本功那種苦盡甘來的美妙感受，兒子的變化已經是一種境界的提升。進而發現，兒子眼神中透露著清澈的善、平和更純了。這種心靈的提升是純淨、祥和的環境才能滋養出來的。
I have heard a dancer describe that after the tendons and veins are stretched and opened, they feel so comfortable that it's hard for them to stop stretch even a day. My son said that he had experienced the wonderful feeling that after he endure all the pains and finally get into a miraculous realm. He's change was already an improvement in realm. Then I discovered that the truthfulness, compassion revealed in his eyes are purer. This kind of inproving of realm can only be cultivated in a pure and peaceful environment.
僅僅一年，如此大的變化，真是非常感恩神韻和飛天學校。這是費了很大的心血，培養他巨大付出的結果。校舍建設、日常吃穿、管理協調、安保、文化課程、藝術培訓……我們家長沒有掏一分錢。
In just one year, such a big change has occurred on him. I am really grateful to Fei Tian. This is the result of the great effort by cultivating him. Building construction, food and clothing, management coordination, security, cultural courses and art training... are all free, we did not pay a penny.
現在西方教育對孩子以鼓勵為主，我曾一直擔心這樣的教育模式容易導向放縱過度。如果能結合中國傳統的教育，讓孩子吃點兒苦，多培養孩子的德行，對孩子才是有益的。感受到飛天學校培養他們是在把東、西方最優秀的教育整合，是一種兼顧傳統的開創性、藝術教育，讓孩子未來成為真正的藝術家、神的使者。
Western education focuses on encouraging children. I have always worried that it may easily lead to overindulgence. I think it would be beneficial to the student if they could be combined with traditional Chinese education, which let the children endure some hardships, and cultivate more virtues. I feel that Fei Tian is integrating the best education from the East and the West to train them. It is a pioneering, artistic and traditional education to lead children to become true artists and messengers of God in the future.
從這一點上看，也許現在大家都還沒有意識到，飛天學校是全世界最頂尖的學校。他們這些被培養的，是最讓人羨慕的生命，在飛天學校學到的是有內涵的真正的知識。
From the perspective of this point, probably not everyone has realized now that Fei Tian is the top academy and college in the world. Those who have been cultivated there are the most enviable lives. What they learned in Fei Tian is real knowledge with connotation.
都說“讀萬卷書不如行萬里路”，真希望兒子有這個福分，能達到標準，參與神韻藝術團巡迴演出的實習，那是他的夙願：去神韻、救人反迫害，也將是他人生最寶貴的經歷。
It is said that "it is better to travel thousands of miles than to read thousands of books." I really hope that my son will have this lucky and can reach the standards of Shen Yun then to participate in the internship of the Shen Yun Tour all over the world. That is his long-cherished wish: to go to Shen Yun, save lives and against persecution, and will also be the most valuable experience in his life.
神韻和飛天學校付出太多太多。無以言表！唯有感恩！
In fact, Shen Yun and Fei Tian, we can't imagine how big things he has been cared for and given so much. Be grateful and thankful to Shen Yun and Fei Tian!
