(July 22, 2025 Updated): Gan Jing World has upgraded its payout system to give creators like you an even better monetization experience. As part of this improvement, all creators — whether you're just starting to monetize or already earning — will need to complete a quick onboarding (or re-onboarding) process to continue receiving payouts.

And there’s more good news — we're expanding our Ads Monetization Beta from 12 countries to 43! That means creators in even more countries can now start earning from their content.

Follow the steps below to get set up on the new payout system and unlock your monetization potential.

Step-by-Step: How to Set Up Your Payment Account

1. You’ll be notified in two ways:

• Email with your personalized onboarding link;
• Pop-up notification on your GJW dashboard with instructions.

Click your onboarding link to begin.

2. Check Your Monetization Tab

When you receive the email notification, check the “Monetization” Tab in your Creator Studio’s left-side panel. You will see an “Apply Now” button where you can activate your monetization type: Ads or Membership.

5. Start your payment setup

You need to link an email to your payout account (Note: Each email can only be linked to one channel). You’ll be prompted to provide:

• Your personal or business information;
• Bank account details;
• Tax form (W-9 or W-8, depending on location).

6. Choose your preferred payment method

You can choose Direct Deposit/ACH, Wire Transfer, or PayPal — and enter the required account information. (Available payment methods may vary by country.) Transaction and foreign exchange fees may apply. You’ll be able to review the applicable fees for your selected payment method before proceeding.

7. Submit your tax information by selecting the appropriate tax form:

• W-8BEN — for non-US individuals
• W-SBEN-E — for non-US corporations
• W9 — for US individuals/entities
• Other

8. You're all set!

Your submission will be reviewed, and once approved, payments will be issued according to your selected payment method. Please note: When your earnings reach the payment threshold of USD $50, your payout will be processed within 60 days after the end of the month. If the threshold is not met, your earnings will roll over to the following month.

9. View Earnings History

In the left-hand "Monetization" menu, click "Manage Payments" on the right to view and download your full earnings history.

🔔 Important Dates for Existing Monetized Creators

As part of the transition to Gan Jing World’s new payout system, payouts will no longer be issued through Stripe starting this month (July). To ensure you continue receiving your earnings without interruption, please complete the new onboarding process by the dates below:

Key dates:

• By July 24th: Receive June earnings and any previous balance by the end of July.

• By August 31st: Receive all unpaid earnings through August and any previous balance. (Note: Complete by July 31st to receive July earnings in August.)

• After August 31st: Previous balance will not carry over. Earnings will be counted from the month your re-onboarding process is completed.

Payouts will be issued only when your total earnings reach $50 or more. Amounts below this threshold will roll over to the following month.
