World Falun Dafa Day 2026 in Sydney's Inner West | Falun Gong | Ashfield #513

Flower fairies danced with grace and lightness. Ladies in traditional Chinese costumes waved their flowing sleeves. A piano solo brought Beethoven's classic works to life. Audience members learned Falun Gong exercises. At Ashfield Town Hall in Sydney's Inner West, Falun Gong practitioners celebrated World Falun Dafa Day with the local community. Several councillors commended the practitioners for sharing the beauty of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. It's a universal thing. It's good for humanity. It's something that blends with every culture, all of all people. Your influence in the community is such profound, and I know year in, year out you are there working very hard and exposing that principle, so congratulations to the community. I love events that brings community together and highlights and showcases the different areas of our community. They're not only a principle for Falun Dafa, but they're a principle by which most great societies are built, and without them, especially in a multicultural society, we can't actually get along together. They've been doing wonderful work. Every year we have the Blacktown City Festival, and the Falun Dafa always has a big group of people in the parade, and are well represented, and everyone is very impressed with the work they're doing in the community. It's a great discipline, what they learn, and I'm very much passionate about that, and I would like to congratulate each and every one about the teachings and the learnings, what they have got, and their lives have changed completely. I've seen them, I've been talking to them, which is a great thing, and that's exactly what we need in today's world, peace, harmony, and being together. And I think they should continue and spread beautiful love and Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance across Australia, and they're really characteristics that we want people in Australia to have, and Australia embraces these type of characteristics, and we need more people like that. Truthfulness, you know, Forbearance, and Compassion, because these principles are not just, I would say, Falun Dafa community's principles. They are universal, and they resonate with everyone, especially in a diverse multicultural community like Australia. I'm very happy to support Falun Dafa. I saw Shen Yun earlier this year, and I know the contributions the Falun Dafa community make to Australia. As a Liberal, I believe it's so important to protect freedom. Freedom is such a vital part, not only to Australia, but to the world. We really agree with the Falun Gong's values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. It's really not easy to persist in the same cause non-stop. It's really their dedication to these values that has kept them going for so long. The guests expressed their gratitude to the Falun Gong practitioners for their contributions and encouraged them to continue sharing the virtues of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
