Falun Gong practitioners rally to
commemorate the 27th Anniversary of the April 25th Peaceful Appeal
and call for an end to the Chinese Communist Party's transnational repression.
We are here today to commemorate
the 25th of April in 1999,
when people rose up
and started to speak out,
and started to be persecuted
and started to be tortured and killed.
This April 25th appeal is a legacy for history.
Indeed, an event like this in China,
so many people gathering for such a large-scale appeal.
The police initially were very tense toward us.
But later, they became very relaxed
and they could chat casually in small groups.
Only the Dafa practitioners could do this.
Because they are cultivators.
Only they are capable of doing it,
who cultivate themselves according to
Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance.
There were no chanting of slogans in that environment.
There was no hostility.
A number of guest speakers spoke at the event,
praising Falun Gong practitioners for their
27 years of peaceful resistance to the persecution.
The Falun Gong,
it has no political agenda.
It's Truth,
it's Compassion, and Forbearance.
And the regime is unhappy
because the fact that people find it so popular
indicates a sort of silent referemdum
on what the Chinese people really want.
I think the peaceful resistance is commendable.
I just hope that the Chinese government will actually listen.
Just stand up against this evil regime
and to be persistent about it,
it's really admirable.
And I really salute the Falun Dafa practitioners,
and especially their peaceful movement,
and their principles about
Truth, Forbearance, and Compassion
is really really great.
They are all very brave people.
I will do everything in my power to support them.

calls on society to pay attention to and stop
the Chinese Communist Party's transnational repression.
Their bomb threats
not only directly threatened the theaters
hosting the Shen Yun shows,
but at the beginning of this year,
there also occurred a shock that stunned the entire Australia,
the bomb threat against the Australian Prime Minister.
Worldwide, there were at least
nine heads of government have been threatened
including Canada,
including the United Kingdom,
including Italy,
and Spain.
Many of these other democratic countries.
It's really important that we are
not bullied by the Chinese Communist Party.
They are presiding over the atrocities,
of organ harvesting and persecution
of Falun Gong people in China,
as well as Christian and Muslim people, Uyghurs.
So I think we need to,
as a civilization, as a nation,
stand against that and help bring awareness.
I just want to encourage everyone to keep going.
Don't be intimidated. Don't be afraid.
Just keep doing what you're doing.
And love will always shine through.
And love will always win in the end.
