The Prince and Princess of Wales are said to be working to fill a huge hole
in the royal family left by his grandmother the Queen.
The Prince and Princess, the new King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla have been working
hard on their new crucial new responsibilities since Queen Elizabeth II passed away at Balmoral
last month. There have already been several trips in the UK including one last week to Northern
Ireland. The new Prince and Princess of Wales have stepped up to help fill the huge hole left
by the passing of Britain's longest reigning monarch according to royal scholar and author
Duncan Larcombe. He also thinks they give the monarchy a glamorous edge. Speaking candidly
to OK Magazine he mentioned how King Charles, Camilla, William and Catherine have presented
We're beginning to see something that we've waited for for a long time, something that
Charles has been planning all those years prior to becoming King, Duncan said this week.
A seamless transition from his mother's role and a united front, both personally and professionally,
with his wife, his son and his daughter-in-law. There was a huge hole left in the royal family
that has now been replaced by the new Fab Four. Before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back
as working royals, the name Fab Four was frequently used to refer to William, Catherine and the
Sussexes. However, Duncan now sees King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort and the Prince and
Princess of Wales as the new Fab Four, as the most visible and frequently seen royals in the royal
family. He went on to say that the two couples play quite different roles, with one being a
ceremonial force and the other a glamorous supercouple. The expert continued, Charles and
William are the two main international diplomats of the royal family and they've both got a hell
of a job to do, respectively and together. They've hit the ground running. He added,
This is about Charles and Camilla as a ceremonial force and William and Catherine as the glamorous
supercouple, ensuring that the future is bright. We'll see the foursome hosting world leaders at
Buckingham Palace. We'll see them dividing up their time to visit as many countries around the world
as they can at a time when we also happen to have one of the biggest television audiences
ever following the funeral of the Queen. Duncan hypothesised that the Prince and
Princess of Wales will likely be hosting world leaders and visiting as many countries as they
can to assist the King and Queen Consort in filling the huge hole left by the Queen's death.
The new Fab Four have mutual interest, mutual commitment to work and mutual love for the
country they represent, he asserted emphatically. In a recently published photograph of Buckingham
Palace the foursome were beaming and Duncan characterises the photo as a form of branding
the group. This new image is a continuation of what we observed on the balcony of Buckingham
Palace during the Jubilee. It's a statement to the world that life continues on and that the
four of them have begun working as they intend to. Only a few years ago the Fab Four were thought to
have been Prince William, his wife Catherine, his brother Prince Harry and Meghan Markle,
the Duchess of Sussex. However since Harry and Meghan announced their resignation from royal
duties and mitigation to the United States last year, relations between the Sussexes and the rest
of the Roars have been tense. Charles has made it perfectly clear where his relationship stands
with Harry and Meghan. Duncan added he has publicly declared his love for them but is equally moving
on to perform his duties with his heir, his wife and the future Queen Consort.
