Imagine this.
It's your wedding day.
You're dancing the night away with the love of your life, it's magical, and everything
you dreamed about.
And then you turn around and see Taylor Swift or Justin Bieber.
Crazy, right?
Well, for some lucky brides and grooms, that really happened.
There have been quite a few stars who've tried their hand at popping into weddings uninvited.
So today, I've gathered my top nine favorite celebrity wedding crashers of all time.
Hey guys, I'm your host Chelsea Briggs and you're watching the Hollywood Hot Minute.
Get ready party people, I'm kicking this off with number nine.
Maroon 5's Sugar music video is practically wedding crashing 101.
The guys made it their goal to crash as many weddings as they could in one day, and I'd
say they were pretty darn successful.
Next up, oh my gosh, this is too good.
So Kevin Hart and Josh Gad, who starred in The Wedding Ringer together, were at a photo
shoot in West Hollywood doing their thing when they caught wind that a wedding was happening
a few doors down.
So what did they decide to do?
Duh, join the festivities, because who wouldn't want a little comedic entertainment at their
wedding?
Especially from these two.
Okay, now let's move right along to number seven.
Macklemore, who got in on the wedding crashing fun back in May while in Washington, D.C.
The best part about this whole story is that it wasn't his idea to pop into the wedding,
it was actually his own mother who talked him into it, and he documented the whole experience
on Snapchat.
Coolest mom ever, or what?
Okay, this next one warms my heart.
Jennifer Hudson comes in at number six when she gave a surprise performance at Chris and
Scott Lindsay's wedding, which was one of Dallas' first same-sex weddings after the
Supreme Court's same-sex marriage ruling last year.
Their reactions are the best.
Alright you guys, so next up at number five is one of our most recent wedding crashers,
Justin Timberlake.
Can you even imagine?
So it all went down in upstate New Hampshire earlier this month when the couple, Chelsea
and Ryan, were in the middle of their wedding photo shoot.
Now Chelsea's dad spotted JT eating lunch nearby and asked him to surprise the couple
with a photo.
Needless to say, they had no idea what was coming.
Who's this guy?
Do you want to marry Ryan?
I have another wedding I actually have to miss.
Thank you very much.
Thank you.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
Coming in at number four is Queen Bey.
Beyonce and Jay-Z were vacationing in Italy a few years ago when they decided to pop into
a local church while out exploring the city.
Little did they know that a wedding was going on and Beyonce was kind enough to pose for
a photo with the beautiful bride.
You can literally still see the look of shock on her face.
I don't blame her.
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez come in at number three.
Back in their Jelena days in 2011, the couple were taking a romantic stroll on the beach
in Malibu when they heard Justin's One Less Lonely Girl playing at a wedding reception
nearby.
So I mean, obviously they just had to make an appearance.
We just crashed it.
We didn't really know what was going on.
We heard a party so we decided to just come.
So, let's party.
Wow!
Justin and Selena stayed for about ten minutes, took pictures with the bride and groom and
were the talk of the wedding.
So cute.
Coming in at number two is Taylor Swift.
Now, this one is such a touching story and it was the groom's sister, Ally, who arranged
this whole crash.
She wrote to Taylor and explained that the couple, Max and Kenya, who are longtime fans
of the singer, got married earlier this year in his dying mother's hospital room and they
danced to Blank Space before she passed away.
Now, obviously when Taylor read the letter, she knew what she had to do.
Crash their wedding.
She even performed a stripped down version of Blank Space, which the couple danced to
in front of their family and friends.
How amazing is that?
Alright, I want to talk about the fact that when I wrote this song, I never in my life
imagined I would be tasked to play it.
I don't know.
And finally, my number one wedding crasher is Ed Sheeran.
Okay, get ready because this story is going to melt your heart.
Couple Matt and Kaia from Sydney were unable to fund the wedding of their dreams after
Kaia's mother passed away a few years ago.
So when radio host Kyle and Jackie O heard the news, they not only helped pay for their
amazing wedding, but they even brought a little wedding singer to make their day that much
more special.
We're going to leave you with a little wedding singer that we organized.
Here he is!
Oh my God!
We found love right where we are.
I'm not crying.
You're crying, aren't you guys?
Which celebrity would you want to crash your wedding?
I don't know.
It's a tie between obviously Ed Sheeran.
Taylor Swift would be awesome.
Justin Timberlake would be amazing.
How about the 1975?
Or anyone.
Dude, that would be the craziest thing ever.
But I want to know, who is your ultimate wedding crasher dream?
Let's talk it out in the comment section below right now.
