I went a little more simple with their Boo Baskets this year, but honestly, I still had SO much fun shopping for everything and putting them together! 🥹 I love finding little seasonal goodies that I know the kids will enjoy and making Halloween feel extra special for them.
In today’s video, I’m showing you everything I picked up for my kids’ Boo Baskets, including some cute, fun, and affordable Halloween finds! Hopefully this gives you a little inspiration if you’re putting together Boo Baskets for your kiddos this year too. 🧡🖤
Let me know in the comments: Do you make Boo Baskets for your kids? And what’s one thing you always put inside? 🎃
Hi my loves, it's your girl Rachel and today I'm here to share with you everything I got
my kids for their boob baskets.
Well, let me pause right there because it's not even everything.
Y'all, I filmed this video on Saturday, so a few days ago, today is Tuesday, so we're
in the week, okay?
And the kids played with mostly everything so far, touched things.
So I upload the video, literally no audio, so I tried to get everything back to film
it and share with you what I got them.
You won't see everything, but I still have that footage, so I'll just like input whatever
you've missed.
I didn't spend too much because I do so much baskets.
They have a plethora of Halloween socks and pajamas and, you know, I don't want to over
do it.
So I kept it pretty minimal this year, but nonetheless, we're still in spooky season.
So let's get started.
All right, I was able to find these two already.
So I did get three because I have three kids, a 10-year-old, a 9-year-old, and a 5-year-old.
So these were a couple of scents from Walgreens.
They had them actually last year, too.
They love them, and they're actually at Walgreens right now for $5.
So if you could wait until the end of season, maybe for next year if you could, you know,
they're just these little spin light.
They're perfect.
They're fun.
This, I actually got them from Dollar Tree.
I already played with it, I mean, well before I even did the boob basket, but I wanted to
show you.
It is a fun little item to add.
It's a sound machine.
This I actually got, I think, last year, and y'all, it was completely free.
This was originally from Target.
It's a Hide and Eat Boutique Mummy Bowling.
Super fun.
So this is just for some indoor bowling.
The kids, as you can see already, like, started playing with it and stuff.
It's a lot of fun, but pretty much somebody in my complex was moving.
What people do sometimes is they'll put out things that they don't want in our lobby and
they'll just put free.
Someone was giving away pretty much all of their holiday collections, so I ended up snagging
this.
I love Disney.
The kids love Disney.
So when I found this at the thrift for my youngest son, I was so excited.
This says Foolish Mortals.
It's their Haunted Mansion Hoodie, a steal, and $1, guys, I kid you not.
This is from Disney, alright, and $1.
Toddler!
And if you know anything about Disney merch, it could be a little pricey, so I'm so excited
for him to wear this during the cooler months.
Now, this I found for my daughter.
It is a little big, but I'm thinking, because she has a few tights, she can wear this oversized
over her tights when it starts to get a little chilly out.
And it says, What Up Witches?
So again, from the thrift, $1.
This I picked up last year from Walgreens.
So three of them, two of them already have been used.
It's somewhere in their rooms, but this one has yet to be opened, and pretty much it has
three modes of light.
They blink, they can be still, and then you just turn it off.
I think $0.82 after the season.
So the kids like these for actual Halloween night.
This I purchased, oh my gosh, they may want to dive into this today, actually.
But these are from the Dollar Tree.
It's slime.
My husband was not excited about this, but they have this and they have a casket version.
The casket version, it's like a thicker putty.
This is more slimy, so it's very sticky.
My kids are only allowed to play with this in designated areas of my home, balcony being
the main one, and then we have some bar stools so they can play with it on our bar.
But be careful, guys.
You don't want it to stick to the carpets.
But $1 for four, I'll take the extra one.
I don't know if it glows in the dark, but it looks as though it does.
It has some glitter to it also, so that's fun.
My daughter got this Disney Princess coloring book from the Dollar Tree.
Their coloring books have been amazing this year.
They have glow-in-the-dark stickers and tons of crafts, word search.
We like to do these together.
I think for just about every holiday, I get them some sort of activity, and then I kind
of just watch them do it or I'll help them out.
But this page is so cute.
Look at this.
Pumpkin Princess, so super fun.
And then this I got for my eldest.
He already did one of the pages.
I told him that I would share with him because I love Nightmare Before Christmas.
This is probably my favorite one.
Also, yeah, he already colored this page.
This is Oogie Boogie.
And y'all, these left so fast.
I went and picked it up last week, right?
So I think I picked it up on a Monday, and on Tuesday, I went back to get something all
sold out.
So I knew they would go pretty fast.
I regret not getting my own, but that's okay.
My eldest said he would share with me, and it comes with some glow-in-the-dark stickers
also.
And then my youngest got the bluey version.
I think he already did a page also, but this is just more crafts than anything.
Tic-tac-toe he loves, the mazes, the stickers.
So so fun.
I love that they're themed.
Their books are, I think, $1.50.
And then we got this pumpkin cookie activity kit.
I'm going to be honest, Dollar Tree's decorative cookies usually for us aren't the best.
We've had the Christmas version.
I think they're like gingerbread.
Taste-wise, it's not there, but it's still fun.
So I only got one for us to decorate because maybe this year it'll be a little tasty.
If not, it's okay because I only got one cookie, and they can take turns decorating it.
We can all take a little taste and see if it hits this year.
So we just got that.
It looks like a giant cookie too.
And then my kids already dove into it.
Oh wow, they already did the activity.
So pretty much this was like a paper cutting activity.
So you get a whole bunch of these haunted houses, and then you could decorate it as
you wish.
So they already decorated this house.
You do need glue to do it or some tape.
This one's already decorated.
It has a little ghost.
This one's actually really cute.
I kind of like this the most.
I love the ghost.
This one's cute too.
It has a little mummy.
So yeah, my kids already started having fun decorating that.
But yeah, it comes plain, and you can stick whatever you want on here, all the sticker
options.
So I may actually make my own today.
And all of these actually offer a dollar, not too bad.
And then in here, we got a little ghost, a little knitted ghost.
I think this was from last year.
And then y'all, they already dove into the candy, but they left one of the bags in here.
So I'm just going to show you how cute the packaging is.
They had a four pack of cotton candy for $1.25.
Oh, here's the other necklace.
They told me to save it for them for Halloween night, and then I got another one of these.
So that was just about everything aside from the candy.
And the kids did get some window clings.
They already put them up on their windows, so I can't show you, but those were $1.50.
So they loved everything, guys.
Let me know if you're doing a boot basket this year.
I am taking it a little easy, y'all, and starting to now dive into Christmas.
So I already actually picked up a few things today, literally, at Walgreens for literally
cents.
Like, I kid you not, literally cents.
I'm going to start taking you guys along with me when it comes to prepping for Christmas.
I'm taking it easy with that, too, y'all, because we just have a lot of things, so we
need to sort out things before I bring in more things.
But thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you in the next one.
Goodbye.
