WEHS Summer Art Camp 6/8/2026

Mask making has to do with building on a base mask and from here they learn about making shapes into forms. So they add a little bit of clay, a little bit of plaster, then they add some paint. I went to this art camp a couple of years ago and so I wanted to do it again and also because I knew that some of my friends would come. You get to like try new things and you get to express like what you feel and it's like really fun because like you you're doing something and you're not like you don't get bored. They're learning the elements and principles of art and to build with complex mediums so it's a lot to take in for the children but they seem to manage it because it's fun. The teachers are nice they're not like super strict and that the projects are easy to do and they're fun. I do hope that they get inspired by art. I hope that they find something that they can express themselves and to be the person they are.
