We're Paying $35K OVER MSRP on a New Ford Bronco Raptor!

All right so this might make a whole lot of people mad actually to be truthful and true to us I said something about getting a Bronco Raptor so I can have it at Trail Hero so I can romp it through those dunes so I can go rock crawling and I'm gonna go beat it up and I'm gonna be truthful if I break it I break it Bronco Raptor has 37s on. So this is the excitement that's been happening all this weekend for us. Join us today for one of our very firsts because we're at the Pomona Off-Road Expo we've never been here before we're super excited as you can see we've got a line of people already because we're at the Bill Stein booth we're gonna say hi to a bunch of fans and then in a little while we're gonna take you guys around and show you the show because we've already walked through it a little bit and it's pretty awesome. All right so we had a subscriber come by earlier came to say hi and sun's going down everything's closed we're getting ready to leave and I saw him here with his hood up he's like hey what's going on he's like well the Jeep won't start we had somebody test it they said the fuse bus is bad and that's like this big fusible bus that goes with where here I'll show you so these guys under here there's a big fuse bus down here so one of the guys said that this was bad well I had a spare one so I was like here you go go ahead and put it on but we didn't because I asked him if he has deleted his auxiliary battery the little one down here and he has not right no it deleted what's happened is the battery's bad so the vehicle won't run he doesn't have a jumper wire so what we did was we took a lug nut and shoved it between post one and two oh that is hot that is not supposed to be like that that is not that's not good but it got the vehicle to start and run the problem is is if I pull it it's gonna die at least until it's been running long enough but what I don't like is that it's like it's really hot because it doesn't yeah I don't I don't know I don't know if you want to go drive in this that's up to you that's that's dangerous it could be bad it could catch on fire for all I know uh this is not none of the other ones are hot so it is these two so what's happening now is probably the main battery here is trying to charge the little battery but I think the little battery has a dead cell and so it's too much juice I'm gonna pull that off and I'm gonna leave and I'm gonna let him decide to let the tow truck come or put that back on or whatever it is that he wants to do but I can't be the one that did this and drove off because if this jeep catches on fire uh I can't be responsible yeah I don't even know if I can get this out ow it's so it's hot that's not good if it's that hot oh all right I'm gonna pull that out and we'll see if it dies it'll probably die though all right he's gonna pull it out really quickly there you go so now it's still running because it's been charging for a minute but you'll start to see the windshield wipers go crazy see so those started moving it started flashing it started doing all kinds of crazy stuff what does your voltage say does it have a voltage thing on the dash it's better voltage 10.5 yeah see you're not you're not charging now go put that lug nut back on just hold it there yeah you see it jump up as soon as you put the lug nut there it went down to nine point something and now it's up to 12.6 12.8 so the lug nut's charging it right now the lug nut's causing the jumper to yeah to work so as long as I can get it to the gate yeah there you go well all you gotta do is delete that battery if you pull out the fender liner there's some bolts and you can get rid of that battery and just disconnect that battery completely all right so little tip for all the jail owners I've told you guys many videos delete the aux battery just delete it it will leave you stranded at least he's stranded here with a bunch of jeeps and people this happens to people out on trails in the middle of nowhere delete the aux battery delete it thanks for your help no problem bud all right so this might make a whole lot of people mad actually so it makes me mad we did a video on the our bronco and how we didn't like it because we didn't people were super upset about it that we didn't like our bronco even though there's hundreds of threats complaining about the same things we were complaining about right so anyway so then I went on and I said something about getting a bronco raptor and then people were like getting super pissed like oh you'll probably get one before anybody because you're a youtuber and they're all pissed off just so no it doesn't work that way also I'm pretty sure most manufacturers don't like us because we are honest because we are honest we do say when we encounter bad things we talk about those bad things whether it's cheap bronco or anything else so you know what I'm gonna do I've only seen bronco raptor stuff that's been covered by ford like where people go out and ford gave them a press vehicle and then they get to drive it but they can only say what they're allowed certain things and then they can only drive over the rocks that they're allowed to drive over etc etc so you know what I'm gonna do to be truthful and true to us I am going to pay $35,000 over MSRP I have found a bronco raptor that we're picking up tomorrow at $35,000 over MSRP makes me want to throw up just to get it and I'm gonna go beat it up and I'm gonna be truthful if I break it I break it keep my does great it does great we have a bronco raptor on order that we can buy for MSRP once that order comes in but we don't know what we don't know when that'll be it could be next month or it could be a year from now unfortunately youtube youtube life we can't wait that long we need to be at the forefront of beating the out of one of these things and so we're gonna pay the price that makes me want to vomit every time I think about it because let's be honest it's not worth that it's not no it's not worth over a hundred thousand dollars it just simply isn't but we're gonna do it and we're gonna bite that bullet so we can make some super rad content and give you guys some honest real life wheeling reviews and videos and entertainment say oh they just did it because they got it for free or they got theirs for this no we're literally paying 35 grand over just so I can have it tomorrow so I can have it at trail hero so I can romp it through those dunes so I can go rock crawling and I've got a buddy that's got a brand new 392 with 37s on it so we're gonna compare a 392 with 37s and a stock Bronco Raptor that has 37s on it so this is the excitement that's been happening all this weekend for us Kevin's been on the phone non-stop all day long trying to find one of these and weirdly enough this is about the cheapest that we can find right now because everyone's trying to gouge everyone because Ford can't they can't produce them and get them out there so I found one for like five or ten grand cheaper but they're in like Maryland or Massachusetts we'd have to ship it and I have to ship it and I can't this guy's local we can pick it up physically anyways point is that's what we're doing so uh a new plan b is coming into the uh we never even put the plan b stickers on the last one because we hated it that much we sold that one yeah that one's sold it's gone but it's about to be replaced so you'll have to stay tuned to see which one we got what color and what it looks like okay wait wait wait do we really want to buy a stock bronco or do we build a badass jeep desert runner I mean I mean that's I mean I mean that's pretty I mean look coilover dual shocks up front look at this freaking trailing arm I'm gonna be lying if I wouldn't say that I would be more excited about this but ultimately that would probably be more expensive so Levi surely a new car is here this thing he hasn't even driven actually I saw him drive it for two minutes the other night what's this what do you got hiding in the back of this thing that's different from everybody else's two vtex so this crazy guy went ahead and put an lt5 a supercharged v8 what is it 62 yeah 62 and he is spinning all 440s going down the road like at any speed he just lights them up it was wild yeah it is nuts man it is like just light light them and go and this is going to be the only car like this at koh this year yeah so this is a special build from Europe so this is like a whole new design this thing is super sick we got to hear it run the other night he looked scared to drive it I told him if you wanted me to drive we're the same we're the same size look so I got a lot bigger head but we're kind of the same size I think you should I got my heels on though oh do you I think you should let me drive it because just because we're the same size I think that's like yeah I'm he comes into the finish line it'll be Kevin in the seat he stops a minute out lets me get in no no we do the opposite I'll take all the abuse and nobody will know and I'll pull over coming down and then you just jump in and fair enough how or you do the rocks I'll do the desert that's he's like he's like that's not gonna happen let me let Brittany show you the sex that is this vehicle hey what's going on so now that I've decided to buy a Bronco Raptor I want to look at a little more closely and luckily somebody has one here now something that I noticed looking over it this is actually pretty cool they've got 39s on this one stock height that looks really good but something I noticed is you know how on the regular Broncos they have little quarter turns for the fenders and you can pull the flares off well this Raptor Bronco does not have quarter turns it is all bolted on there is no way to pull this off quickly for a trail run so if you're gonna go and you're gonna squeeze between some trees or some rocks you can't just get under here and quarter turn and take them off not that I see see there's push clips there and there's actually like eight millimeter bolts right there which is kind of sucky because that means you're gonna just I'll end up ripping these off I am oh yeah no I'm gonna end up they're not I thought maybe they were softer so these aren't a textured on in photos they look textured they're actually like painted I really thought that these would be a quick disconnect like the factory one all right I got a light on now so we can actually see so you see how those are bolts those are bolts those are push clips I don't see it being an easily removable and this inner fender liner comes all the way out to the edge of the fender so you'd have to yeah so you there have to actually plan ahead of time to pull these off with tools and take the time to do it if you don't want to destroy them so this is accessory ready on it I don't know what accessory you're supposed to put on here this actually comes off pretty easily so that's nothing I haven't seen anybody talk about that about the flares on the Bronco Raptor being not removable with quarter turns like they are on the regular Broncos this tells you like the level of thought like how many days we've been thinking about this because we're making the rounds we've got to get back to Utah because obviously we got to go pick this freaking Raptor up but we're making the rounds we're thinking ahead so you know we run Swix pros on all of our rigs as you can see they've already come out with a super sleek mounting yeah you're right this is our new patent pending Bronco mount for the touch panel it goes in directly at the driver's grab handle utilizes the screw holes that are already there we just provide new hardware a bracket the bracket that supports the back of the touch panel puts it in a nice easy position adjacent to the a-pillar and then this is actually the power module mount and it mounts right here on the right side or directly near the battery so the reason we love the switch pro system is because everything is integrated and it's it makes the wiring setup this is why Chris really loves it the wiring setup inside the rig and underneath the hood is like it's just so clean it's so easy and there's so many different functions that you can address all of the switches too so it's one reason we run it on the buggy we ran it on the ultra four car both a master and a slave slave for both the driver and the passenger during king of the hammers we have it on the jeep they work amazing so as you can tell we don't even have the thing and already Kevin is trying to figure out a million and one ways to improve on it and modify it and build it into a monster we have stuff in store we have ideas solid axle swapping them is not one of them no no no no no no no no if we want a solid axle rig we'd buy another jeep we don't need another jeep no this one we're keeping but this one we're going full-on craziness like stepchild level but baja but desert style this is going to be that and the reason for that because a lot of like why didn't you do that with your old bronco well because the old bronco we essentially where do we park we're in the parking lot oh right there i heard it so the old bronco it was really hard to justify putting a lot of money into it when we hated it right off the bat because there's so much wrong with ours so the raptor we're hoping will make a much better starting point yes it's got to the raptor look well the raptor by far is going to be better than a jeep base starting point like the 392 and the jeep is super awesome that they did that right it's the same vehicle the raptor on the other hand i everything's different it's 0.3 or something inches wider than a raptor f-150 the suspension is completely different the body's completely different this is what i was looking for when i bought the badlands task watch yeah and that wasn't that i got in it and i i tried to like it i tried to force myself to like it now the raptor on the other hand i want to be the first to be beating the ---- out of this thing and the first to be modifying it the first to be doing all that i want to do a proper like what you guys wanted from the the other bronco i wasn't willing to get stranded in the middle of nowhere in it this one's beefier this one hopefully shouldn't leave us stranded in the middle of nowhere and this is going to be the one that's like everything on it is nicer we're buying it from a person who bought it last week i'm not even buying it from a dealer they already bought it it was their order and they're just flipping it to make money cool and we're just the suckers that are gonna be made money on but hopefully bring you guys some really rad entertainment so coming soon so no more of these comments that oh they're youtubers they got it because of youtubers they got it because their preference with treatment they got it because they know somebody that's happened on none of our vehicles ever now don't get me wrong i've reached out to everybody and everybody laughed at me and i'm like now i'm like hey we want to do really cool content we run a race and kick the hammers and they're like great why don't you do it that was our first idea was buying a stock bronco raptor doing the safety requirements and then basically running a stock bronco raptor through the stock classic king of the hampers that was our first idea that we really wanted to do and now we've kind of run out of time to get it ready for this year to get it ready so i do have three more bronco raptors on order and we'll either maybe the only reason we did that is so we could try to get one as quickly as yeah i'm literally called i have three more coming i don't know what i'm gonna do with them i might sell them i might sell the allocation i might turn may have one as like a fun daily one one is a race car i don't want two rafters but one could be a race car we have two jeeps i don't want two rafters we have two jeeps because one is a 426 hemi and the other one has a demon engine in it if you want to throw like a coyote or predator engine into one of the rafters that would be a predator a predator engine anyways as always thank you so
