Hey guys welcome to another video. So before we get into the video I just want
to say a big thank you to each and every one of you who have watched the videos
and supported the channel over the past year. I honestly didn't expect the channel
to grow this much within the year but all down to you guys it's been brilliant
thanks a lot. So this video is something that many of you have been asking for so
it's clips of previous mock tests of this year where I've had to grab the
steering or press the pedals on my side to prevent something serious from
happening when a learner is driving on the mock test and making a serious
driving fault. So please ignore the false tally at the bottom of the screen
because like I said it's clips of all different mock tests not just one mock
test and I really hope you enjoy this video. Simran gets really close to this
parked car. I have to come in and ask her to steer away and this would be a
serious driving fault for clearance. So I've asked James to continue straight
ahead second exit. We're in the right-hand lane which can be used to go
straight ahead at this roundabout. Because we've entered in the right-hand
lane James should stay in it and then exit off into the right-hand lane but he
drifts over to the left and I have to intervene.
Hey guys anyone learning to drive please check out my driving course. There are 38
easy-to-understand videos on every single topic required to pass the
driving test. Just watch the video before your driving lesson related to the
topic you are covering on that day. This will give you the correct knowledge on
that subject and you'll know exactly what you're supposed to do so you can
get into the car fully prepared. This will definitely save you time and money
on your driving lessons.
After 200 yards sharp right then ahead keep left. At this right turn Pablo makes
another serious driving fault. He gets confused about where to turn and
attempts to turn onto a road which is for the oncoming vehicles that are
turning off the dual carriageway. If Pablo had turned onto that road then we
would have been on the wrong side of a dual carriageway facing oncoming traffic.
Sharp right then ahead keep left. That's actually the opposite side. Oh yeah okay.
200 yards go right on the roundabout. At this roundabout Pablo makes three
serious driving faults. The sat-nav directs us to turn right at the roundabout
so I'm expecting Pablo to get into the right-hand lane. He doesn't react so I
remind him that we're turning right. Still Pablo doesn't react until he gets
really close to the vehicle in front. I had to intervene and come to the rescue.
Go right on the roundabout. Third exit. The exit. The exit. Take the exit then keep right.
In this position it would be safer to miss your exit and take the following
one as we are positioned in the wrong lane. But Pablo still tries to exit and
gets in the way of other vehicles. One driver wasn't happy at all and you'll
see the driver overtake and stick up their fingers. Here when turning right we
have a choice of two lanes. We can use either lane. It's best to use the left
lane out of the two as this will lead us onto the left lane after the turn.
Pablo selects a right-hand lane which isn't a fault but it means he will have
to switch over to the left lane after the turn as the right-hand lane is used
for overtaking or turning right. And this lane change does cause Pablo more
problems. He tries to change lanes when it's not safe to do so and again I have
to intervene. After 200 yards keep left. Claudia stops for the oncoming vehicle
which is good but after stopping she accidentally selects gear 3 instead of
1 so she stalls the car. After stalling Claudia should have checked her gear but
doesn't so she keeps stalling. I let her have a few attempts hoping she may
realise but she doesn't so I had to tell her.
I think her friend was wondering what's going on.
Claudia sees an oncoming vehicle and steers to the left and she gets too
close to the parked vehicle so I have to intervene. When trying to move off uphill
Claudia doesn't use the gas pedal which again leads to stalling. I had to help
Do you need some help? Yes. Okay so get the biting point please. That's it, keep it there.
This time Claudia's friend seemed a little worried. Stop, stop, stop for the car.
Oh my god I feel like 3 times already. Don't worry, get the biting point. Hold it there, hold it there.
Again she exits onto the right-hand lane but then does try to get into the left
lane which is good but as she tries to do this Claudia doesn't notice there is
a vehicle in the left lane so I have to intervene.
It's okay, stay in this lane. For some reason I think her friend enjoyed that serious fault.
This is where Simranji drives onto the wrong side of the road.
After entering this roundabout Metro is in the correct lane and carries out the correct
observations when approaching the second exit and also signals at the correct time but even
though she's checking the mirrors Metro doesn't notice that there is a vehicle in the left lane
and tries to switch lanes. I have to intervene and move us back to the right.
Here Neil decides to overtake the cyclist but he gets very close so I have to intervene.
At this roundabout Neil makes a serious driving fault on lane discipline. After entering the
roundabout instead of staying in the left lane Neil starts to drift over to the right.
There is a lorry on our right hand side so I have to come in. We have another serious driving fault
coming up. Here Lucy gets really close to the parked vehicles. I do have to come in and hold
the steering. This would be a serious driving fault for adequate clearance. She just wasn't
able to move off at the junction as she wasn't using enough gas and she was rushing off the
pedal. I had to come in and guide her out of the situation.
At this roundabout we're supposed to be turning right second exit. On the approach
Gary doesn't signal right so if he turns right without a right signal that would be a serious
fault. But if you look at the markings you can use this lane to go straight ahead. If he does
go straight ahead we have gone the wrong way but it's not really a serious driving fault and Gary
does decide to go straight ahead. Because we started in the right hand lane Gary should have
just come off in the right hand lane as well and then moved back over to the left when he was safe.
But what he tries to do is come over to the left when there's a car quite close and we're in a bit
of a situation where we're kind of in the middle. There's a car on our left and there's also a car
on our right hand side as well. So I come in and just hold the steering and help him out. So this
was a serious fault for his observations not knowing there's a car next to him when he's
trying to change his lane. There is a solid white line on our left so at the moment we
just have the one lane that we can drive in. Soon this one lane becomes two lanes and when
it becomes two lanes we should try and get into the left hand lane as that is our normal driving
lane. Gary realizes this which is excellent but he's so eager to go over to the left hand lane
that when he does try and go over he doesn't notice that there's a car coming quite fast
and again I have to come in and keep him to the right. So another serious fault for his observations.
Here's the second serious fault. Daljit tries to switch over to the left lane but there are
vehicles in that lane. She checks the mirrors but still decides to move to the left. Again I
had to intervene. She should have just stayed in the right hand lane and exited off into the right
lane. Here now the two lanes merge into one. There is a coach on our right so Lucy should slow down
as the coach is in front and the lanes are merging. Lucy doesn't slow down enough and we get really
close to the coach. This would be a serious driving fault. We have a serious fault when
turning right at the lights. Tamina did say in our conversation at the start that in one of her
previous tests she failed for cutting across the path of oncoming cars at a right turn like this
and it seemed as if she was about to do the same thing here. Her speed was too fast on approach
so I had to step in and in the end I had to press the brake pedal myself.
After this right turn we see a vehicle reversing out of the bay and Tamina doesn't notice. Well
she does her braking really late so I have to step in here. So this would be a serious driving fault
for her awareness of what's happening ahead. I really hope you all enjoyed that video and like
always please don't forget to like and subscribe and thanks again for supporting the channel and
I'll see you in the next video.
