Most UFO stories end when the object disappears. These begin with what remained.

Police officers documented landing impressions. Investigators photographed scorched vegetation.
Laboratories examined soil, plants and metallic residue. Witnesses carried burns that they connected
to close encounters. Some samples entered official files. Others were contaminated, disputed or lost.

This feature-length documentary follows the physical evidence behind Socorro, Valensole, Falcon Lake,
Delphos, Rendlesham Forest, Cash-Landrum and Trans-en-Provence. It separates the original testimony
from later mythology, tests ordinary explanations against the surviving material, and asks why the
evidence so often becomes weakest at the moment it should become decisive.

A mark in the ground cannot identify what made it. A laboratory result cannot repair a broken chain
of custody. Yet several cases preserve a combination that remains difficult to dismiss: a close-range
observation, a trace documented soon afterward, and measurable changes at the exact location described.
