Trump just met the tech CEOs! Watch this!
Mr. President.
First of all, thanks, Mr. President.
You have no idea who these people are. These are the biggest people in the world.
You have no idea. This guy is a monster and nobody knows.
What a great life. To be a monster and not have to go through this.
Sundar. Sundar is his name.
Hold it, hold it. CNN fake news.
Do you think that self-believing is enough?
The worst.
Look, we all agree. Mark had a view that was, I thought, really right down the middle.
Mark, do you want to discuss what you thought?
Sure. I can kind of summarize what I think we all signed today,
which is the White House accord on developing this technology safely.
It was sort of a historic conversation.
I don't think anything like this has come before.
And I think this is a meaningful step forward.
So, thank you.
And the funny thing about this is just four or five years ago,
these were the same CEOs who were kicking Trump off their platforms because Trump was the monster.
And here they are. They need his help. They need him to protect them from the communists.
And this is probably one of the most interesting things you'll ever see.
Watch. Here comes the president.
Oh, here it goes.
Mr. President, how did the meeting go?
I've never done this one before. I've never done this location.
Mr. President, did you speak yet?
I did. Yes, sir.
Mr. President, tell us why the world should not be concerned about AI,
why there shouldn't be guardrails.
Because we have people that love our country and love the world.
But it requires more than love, doesn't it, sir?
No, it requires this. And they're the smartest people in the world.
And we had a great meeting today, every one of them.
We had a great, really a great, great meeting.
It was something very, very special.
I'd say it looked like a group of about 40, but whatever it was,
here's one of them right here, Jensen and NVIDIA.
And they love our country and they love the world.
And they came together and they did something that few people really.
It's almost like a constitution in a way.
And the biggest people in the world signed that.
And I signed it as president.
And it really is a form of protection.
Oh, so they signed something? He made them sign his rules.
Who should be held accountable when the AI agents committed a crime?
It's not AI, it's S.I.
That's the other thing. We've changed the name officially today.
We've changed the name, Steve, officially to S.I.
Okay? S.I. like S.I. S.I. instead of A.I.
You know what that means? Superintelligence.
I guess that's really quite an announcement.
But the name has been officially changed by the biggest, the smartest,
the greatest people anywhere in the world at this.
And I was with President Xi a few days ago and he would admit,
he said these are the smartest people in the world at what they do.
And it's a big thing.
But it's been officially changed to Superintelligence or S.I.
And you've got to understand there's a massive competition
and many people think that whoever has the best A.I. systems,
whether you love them or hate them,
that's the country who's going to rule the next 20, 30, 40, 50 years.
Maybe even longer, which is why this happened next. Watch.
Mr. President, Mr. President, it's more than about a name.
Yes, go ahead.
Is this a core that everybody signed? Is it binding in any way?
I think it's morally binding, yeah.
Mr. President, Mr. President.
Oh, so they better do what Trump wants.
What can a bad actor do with this technology,
from what you hear from your intelligence?
Well, I tell you, a good actor can do tremendous in terms of medical.
It's already taking place.
They're finding solutions to problems that they've never thought even possible.
And they're coming up with medical solutions that are incredible.
A lot of other things very positive.
And a bad actor is going to get caught.
And that's why we have the DOJ.
That's why we have the FBI.
That's why we have the CIA.
A bad actor is going to get caught.
But what they signed today means something very, you know, we had the biggest.
That was a who's who.
I don't know if that's ever going to be assembled again.
But that was a who's who of that world.
And I think it's a very special day.
You know, they almost viewed it as a separate kind of a constitution.
And I think when they signed that, it meant a lot.
Mr. President.
So what Trump's done here is he's gotten all of the people
that control the AI infrastructure of our country into one room.
And he's told them exactly how things need to go
in order for the resources of the federal government to help them,
which is exactly what they want,
which is going to protect the American people and keep these companies.
Do you think that self-policing is enough?
Look, Dario has been fantastic.
We had dinner the other night, and he agrees with everyone.
I mean, we all agree.
Mark had a view that was, I thought, really right down the middle.
Mark, do you want to discuss what you thought?
Sure. I mean, I can kind of summarize what I think we all signed today,
which is the White House accord on developing this technology safely.
The basic idea is that we want to give the American people
and our customers confidence
that the technology works in the way that we intend.
So every company is building something that's a little bit different,
having one set of standards for what everyone should want to build.
People want to do some different things.
But I think what we can all agree on
is that the American public and our customers want to know
that what we're building is working in the way that we all intend.
So we drafted a set of principles and commitments
around building robust internal controls
and detecting if there are any issues with the technology,
coupled with multiple layers of auditing controls.
That's reasonable!
Starting with internal risk review, external auditors and evaluators,
and agreeing that we're going to have all of our boards of directors
independently review the reports that come from the auditors.
I think that these are good steps forward.
The idea isn't that this is the only thing that we will ever do.
It is that this is a start and an accord that the whole industry could come to.
And I was very proud to have that discussion
with a number of our colleagues who I think are running great companies.
It was sort of a historic conversation.
I don't think anything like this has come before.
And I think this is a meaningful step forward.
So thank you.
Safe. We want it all to be safe.
It's tremendous good. We want it to be safe.
And they're going to be watching over each other.
Mr. President.
Google!
You have no idea who these people are.
These are the biggest people in the world.
You have no idea who the hell they are.
This guy is a monster and nobody knows.
What a great life.
To be a monster and not have to go to Google.
A monster!
What's your name?
Joe called him a monster.
And the funny thing about this is just four or five years ago,
these were the same CEOs who were kicking Trump off their platforms
because Trump was the monster.
And here they are.
They need his help.
They need him to protect them from the communists.
They need him to keep them safe.
They need him to help them have their companies
and create their jobs and build the things they want,
which is going to be good for all of us.
And this is probably one of the most interesting things you'll ever see.
Watch.
It's out of the penalty box.
Listen to this.
Mr. President, did anything that you heard today,
did anything change your mind,
given the fact that you said you don't want to see guardrails,
you don't want to see AI float down?
Anything that you heard change your mind on that?
Well, I think I'm seeing tremendous self-policing,
and they understand that they have to self-police.
And it's very hard for somebody to come outside, get into these models.
These models are very complex.
And again, I believe they're going to be used for the good,
and when they're not, we're going to be able to nab them.
But there's going to be a tremendous self-policing aspect.
We're also thinking about forming a committee of sorts,
where we put maybe 10 people on that committee.
It could be from that group,
so the committee can watch over the whole enterprise.
You've also indicated that Democrats are talking about concerns about AI as a hoax.
Do you believe that after meeting with all these AI tech leaders?
Yeah, I do. I think they would love to see it shut down,
just like it was a hoax the 12 years for global warming,
which they changed right now to climate change.
Even though Bill Gates says that AI could kill up to a billion people.
Well, now he's not saying that anymore.
Yeah, he stopped.
Well, I don't care what he said Sunday, because I can tell you yesterday,
he didn't say that at all.
Right. So these people, the problem that they have
is that when there are advancements that they don't understand,
advancements that could make society better for the people in that society,
the working class, regular folks, me and you,
that drives the party of communism absolutely insane.
They want to shut that down. They don't want you getting ahead.
They don't want your life to be better in a way that they do not understand.
And if you want to see the world that they would love to have,
it would be one with zero technological advancement,
zero improvements, something, oh, I don't know,
like the island of communist Cuba.
And the other thing here is that if China were to win the AI race,
they're going to be the ones that get ahead.
It's going to be their society that develops and thrives.
It's going to be their society that has the entire world eating out of its hand.
And Trump wants that for America.
But here's what happens next. Watch.
He actually went the opposite.
Look, it's one voice. He actually went the opposite.
No, we're looking at this for good.
It's also maybe the biggest industry.
They say bigger than the Industrial Revolution.
You know what? We're leading by a lot and we're going to keep it that way.
You are someone who always talks about growth when speaking of this.
After this meeting, meeting with all these incredible minds,
how much growth can we see in the upcoming years with all of your growth?
Like nobody's ever seen before.
And I see it with these statements.
Statements came out. You open a company.
And if it does reasonably well, it goes a little bit like this.
These companies are opening and going like a rocket ship.
This is unbelievable growth for our country.
Right. And we have all of them.
There's some people out there who say that, oh, this is a bubble.
Oh, this is a hoax. Well, guess what?
When things like bulldozers were invented, you had rapid construction.
You created jobs.
All of the people who had shovels and couldn't drive the bulldozer,
they were able to get new jobs in other parts of the processes
that the bulldozer unlocked.
Everybody's standard of living went up.
People weren't digging in the dirt all day, breaking their backs.
And when you've got factories and industry, you have,
like Trump just referred to, the Industrial Revolution.
Did jobs change? Yeah, they did.
But life got better for everybody.
And the thing that control freaks don't understand is that
if you're going to isolate everything and stop everything now,
you're just preserving a status quo everyone is complaining about.
Everybody wants advancement. Everybody's already using this stuff.
And if you want to lock it down and shut it down,
you're giving away the future to somebody else.
Listen, in all due respect, Europe has none.
They have none. You need to count on us to help.
But we have all of them, and it's amazing.
Check this channel.
As president, she would say, you know, they're quite a ways back.
And we have to keep it that way.
Remember this, whoever wins SI,
because now we're calling it again, super.
We're using the word super because the other word is a fake word.
It's just not a good, it's not an appropriate word.
But whoever wins SI is going to win.
That's true. It's like a new space race.
What do you tell Americans, sir, about data centers going up in their communities?
Well, that's another thing we discussed.
And I think the companies will be very generous to them,
both financially and otherwise.
I think they'll help with their schools.
They'll help with their teachers.
They'll help with pay of the teachers and the people that are good to them.
Yeah, they'll pay a lot of taxes.
I see that happening, and I think the companies will be very generous to these communities.
And if you look at most, almost in all cases,
the data centers have tremendously, if the money bring brought in,
their taxes have gone down, their incomes have gone up,
the value of their housing has gone up.
But I think that the companies,
and here's one of the greatest in the world,
there's two of the greatest in the world,
they're going to be very generous with communities.
And I think, in a way, they're going to be forming partnerships with communities
when they open up data centers.
And they're going to benefit both financially, morally,
every single way they're going to be benefiting.
And I think that's taking place.
But that can't happen in states like New York.
For example, New York just went out and the governor banned all new data center construction.
There is now a moratorium for a year.
And the reason she's doing this is because people's power bills are going through the roof in New York.
But that's a New York problem.
New York has some of the highest utility rates in the entire country.
These data centers use power.
They use water.
They use resources.
But look at this.
You want to talk about natural resources.
Golf courses use more water than AI data centers.
A golf course consumes an estimated 500 billion to 760 billion gallons of water,
which is way above the 17 billion gallons of water directly used for evaporative cooling, right?
But we're not out there talking about regulating golf courses.
And if you've got a power problem, just don't do what New York did and unplug your power plants
while telling the people who live in your state to plug in a Tesla and rely on solar power for everything.
This is an easy fix.
And this has the potential to do things for our country and for me and you that we don't even fully understand.
Look at this.
What is the importance of superintelligence in the next 10 years?
What's the biggest thing there is?
And nobody even can answer that question because it is the biggest thing there is.
Maybe the biggest thing there's ever been.
It's much bigger than the Internet.
Yeah.
Now, that's already been proved.
The Internet was a big thing when it happened.
This blows it away.
I think Jen said.
What do you say?
Would you say something about that?
Yes, sir.
Absolutely.
Well, this is this is the largest industrial revolution in history.
Yeah.
And we're going through the single largest infrastructure buildout.
And so it's creating a million jobs here in the United States.
Chip plants coming up.
Computer plants coming up.
They got factories coming up.
Right.
So it's creating just an enormous amount of jobs on top of this infrastructure.
Several hundred billion dollars of venture capital has gone into creating new companies.
And all of those 10, those thousands of companies are creating lots and lots of jobs.
Right.
So you have this massive multiplier effect.
All of the naysayers, all the people that want to shut this stuff down.
They say, oh, it's going to take jobs.
They're as afraid of AI as people were afraid of the first bulldozer they ever saw.
They said, that thing's going to take my job.
But while at the exact same time, there are some job changes,
they don't want people to be building these data centers, getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to do it.
A million jobs created as a direct result of companies building out their infrastructure.
And then what do they do?
They go on a hiring spree and they hire even more people.
So all of the people that had one type of job before, they're going to be able to get hired for a new job.
You're going to have demand for workers in a way that our economy needs.
We're going to be facing stagnation if we lock everything down like Europe or like Canada.
If we give away the future like those countries did, we're going to be living with unaffordability and communist style control forever.
This is America's way out.
Another industrial revolution.
But there's more.
Listen to this.
As an example, Davidian.
So he's still a young guy, handsome guy.
Look at him.
He's a very handsome guy.
But as an example, in a fairly short period of time, he's built, I think, the most valuable, right, in the stock market.
And it's very easy to value.
The most valuable company anywhere in the world.
And it's basically new technology.
It's not oil and gas and all the other things that you associate with also a lot of money.
It's technology.
And this man has done a great job.
That man right there has done a great job.
You know what he's doing, too.
Same thing.
And Greg, do you have anything to say?
So we build artificial intelligence.
This is open AI.
Open AI.
Thank you, Mr. President.
We build artificial intelligence to benefit everyone.
We think it can lift everyone up.
We see a whole renaissance of small businesses, scientific discoveries really starting to happen, drug development, really being able to improve everyone's lives.
And we think that the Accords and under President Trump's leadership, everyone coming together to agree on how to move forward safely, I think that's just so important.
Because we're doing this in order to benefit people in the world.
Do you agree with the president?
Do you all agree with the president that no guardrails are necessary, that you can self-regulate?
Okay, here's the thing.
We do have guardrails.
This whole no guardrails angle to AI and, oh, we need to shut it down.
SI now, superintelligence.
It's going to take me time to get used to that.
But this whole idea that, oh, you don't think there should be any guardrails.
Look, we have jails in America.
We have prisons.
We have a legal system.
If you create something that harms people, you don't want to wind up in one of those places.
So we already have plenty of guardrails.
They're the bars on the jail these people are going to find themselves in if they do something stupid.
But where are we getting all this AI regulation stuff?
Well, President Obama wants the Democrats to move AI oversight.
So they're the ones that want to shut it down.
They're the ones that want to regulate it.
And the reason they want to regulate it is because they don't understand it.
And it's because they want to control it.
And they want to make sure that you don't use it to get so far ahead of these guys that you don't need them anymore.
Right. If you don't need Obamacare, if you don't need all the stuff these people want to jam down our throats.
You don't need to beg them to open a city run grocery store in your neighborhood like they're begging Zora and Mom Donnie for in New York.
They're going to need to shut this down.
They're going to need to regulate it.
It's always these people who are the ones that are standing in the way of progress.
We never would have had bulldoze because they want to shut down everything because it takes away their power watch.
Existential threat that you've all talked about can actually be managed.
It's not a threat.
That's a question for you all, actually. I don't know who to focus on.
Well, I mean, I can tell you the answer is yes.
So we discussed it with the top about 40 people.
But somebody who answered it very well is Jensen.
He answered it before.
Jensen, go ahead.
There's no conflict between innovation, technology and safety.
We're going to have to create new technologies to advance the capabilities of AI.
But we're also creating new technologies to advance the safety of AI.
All of this technology is being developed by the industry today.
And you see behind me just an incredible number of leaders in our industry moving together as one.
And we're going to we're going to advance this technology that is so consequential to humanity, so consequential to the future prosperity of our nation.
I'm going to do it responsibly and safely.
Right. So all the things that people are worried about with AI.
You could have said about the bulldozer.
You could have said, well, what happens if the engine doesn't turn off when you turn off the key?
And what happens if it keeps driving?
What happens if it breaks down?
This thing is very heavy. It's very large.
We've never seen anything this large.
You can't stop this thing with your bare hands if it if it goes rogue.
And this is all fear mongering for the most part.
Can bad actors do something with artificial intelligence?
Yeah. Just like bad actors in Chicago can take a six thousand pound SUV, ram it into a convenience store and steal the ATM.
But does that mean we shouldn't have SUVs?
Mr. President, are you concerned at all that your continued support of data centers could hurt Republicans in the midterms?
I just have to do what's right.
All I can tell you is that these big, powerful, very rich, very smart companies are going to be making massive contributions to communities.
Individual people within the community.
And it's going to be really partnership. We talked about it.
They're going to be forming partnerships with communities.
They're going to have they're going to take something that people don't understand and they're going to let them understand it.
They're going to form partnerships within the communities.
That's going to be so good for the people.
The people afraid of the bulldozer don't understand how the bulldozer works because they've never seen one before.
That's what we're talking about here.
And once these companies come in and they start building stuff, they're going to create a whole bunch of jobs.
All that money is going to flow back into the properties in that community.
That money is going to flow into the local businesses, the restaurants.
And then once they create the data centers, they're going to create even more jobs on top of that.
Because now they've got this piece of infrastructure that they can use to do all kinds of things.
And you only have this problem with data centers in areas that have shut off their power plants.
If you have nuclear power, if you have a lot of energy in a community, none of this is a big deal.
But in a place where utility rates are already through the roof, they have to stand in the way of progress because they're already doing that.
They're already stopping progress by unplugging their power plants and telling people to plug in a Tesla.
That's why New York had blackouts this past summer in the Bronx during a normal heat wave, a heat wave we get every summer.
90-ish degree temperatures, 100 degrees, that happens every year in New York.
But this year, the power plants couldn't handle it.
They can't handle AI over there.
You couldn't have a data center in Cuba either, by the way, because these people shut down progress wherever they see it.
Watch.
We talked about that. Our candidates for Congress right now, the Republicans in the House, our candidates and our incumbents, are out in their communities right now as we speak, communicating on this.
They're saying, we cannot lose the race to China.
We cannot lose America's edge because it's important for every American worker, every American family, for their safety, security, their future, the economy.
But it has to be a balance.
You have to take the community concerns in hand.
That's what all of these folks agree to.
That's what the president articulated in the room today, that you have to heed those concerns and you have to make commitments to them.
Just as they're making as an industry, they will make it to the local communities.
For example, we just codified about three weeks ago in the House.
We passed with almost no dissenting votes the Ratepayer Protection Act.
That is a codification of President Trump's ratepayer protection pledge.
They're guaranteeing that when they need energy resources for these AI infrastructure, superintelligence infrastructure systems, that they will produce it themselves.
They will put power back onto the grid in most cases.
They're going to take care of the local communities.
What's the problem?
Trust is earned. It's not automatic.
And they understand that they're earning the trust.
There's no problem there.
What Mike is saying, that means financially as well.
You know, in Louisiana, you probably heard, they're having a big trouble, big problem with teacher pay, etc., etc.
A company went in, I believe it's Meta in this case, and they're paying every teacher virtually in that either area or actually far beyond that area into the parish.
They're paying every single teacher over $50,000 apiece.
This is more money than they've ever seen.
That's crazy.
Money's going to come in like no one's ever seen.
Mr. President, to the FBI and the DOJ, as you suggested, isn't it too late then to prevent any damage?
No, I think we're going to have it very well assessed.
You also remember this.
We have the smartest people in the world watching over each other.
And we've done that.
You had the smartest people.
Look, I guess you could say different industries.
But these are seriously high IQ people.
You know, we used to deal with a lot of low IQ.
These are seriously high IQ people.
And they're really watching over each other.
So these CEOs, the interesting thing about this is just a few years ago, they wanted to regulate and shut down Trump.
They wanted to get rid of Trump.
They tried to wipe him off the map.
And here they are.
They're all back.
And they're all at this big meeting because they've realized that the enemies of progress, those are the enemies of America.
And here Trump is.
He wants to make America great.
You might think that's a stupid thing to say.
But America can't be great if we're going to take all of our companies that are building something new and something that is leading the world and shut them down.
So now what you're watching transpire here is people who maybe didn't want to make America great before now realize they better if they want to have a future.
And that becomes even more fascinating the longer this unfolds.
Look.
You mentioned that you have all found some common ground.
But the leaders standing behind you have had some very serious concerns about AI.
Even after meeting with them today, you are still calling this a hoax.
So why should the American people take your word for this?
It's a very serious.
That's why I changed your name.
OK.
A hoax sounds like, you know, when you're using the former name.
But this name is now super intelligent.
That's not a hoax.
Intelligence.
That's not a hoax.
In fact, it's the exact opposite.
What I am calling a hoax is what the Democrats do because they don't want to see it be successful.
Right.
Because they think that's bad for Republicans.
OK.
So they don't want to see this tremendous surge of growth.
Yeah.
We have growth.
And by the way, we have a lot of car factories opening.
We have all the medical companies, all the pharmaceutical companies.
Pfizer just announced.
Merck just announced.
They're all announcing everyone.
They're all building master plans, not just the the S.I.
But what has happened and what's taking place right now is we have a level of growth that
no country has ever seen before.
And that is bad for people who want to take over this country with communism, because
if you have growth and you have people succeeding on their own, they don't need you for anything.
And they're not going to be out there thinking to themselves that the only way for them to
get ahead is for the government to punish somebody else, steal all that person's wealth,
and then perhaps give you some of it, build you a public park somewhere, open a free grocery
store somewhere.
They're not going to think that way because you know what?
They're on their own.
They're achieving things without you, building their own life, building their own family,
providing for their own future, pursuing happiness as they define it.
This is a nightmare for people who want to lock everything down and control everything
from top to bottom because the bottom just escaped.
They don't know where it went.
Jobs like nobody's ever seen before.
And, you know, the numbers just came out.
We have now the best poverty numbers, meaning the lowest number in terms of poverty, the
best poverty numbers we've ever had.
We have the best individual income numbers in the history of our country.
We have the best crime numbers.
We have the best crime numbers in the history of our country.
And that's despite allowing 25 million people into our country through an open border of
the Biden policy that could have destroyed the country.
We're getting the rest of them out.
We've done a great job.
You know, it's the same people that are saying that we need to lock down AI and shut it down
and no more advancements, no more data centers.
These are the same people telling us that the reason people commit crime is because
they don't have a job.
Right.
Well, here AI is.
It wants to come along and create jobs.
They want to hire people to build stuff.
They want to employ people in ways that have never happened before.
They want to have economic growth in this country, which is why they're building this
stuff.
They're building it because they know it's going to lead to growth and they know that
they're going to be sitting on top of it and they're going to get a cut of all that action
because it's their data center.
But at the exact same time, the people that could be working at these jobs, oh, no.
Shut those jobs down.
Let them be criminals on the street and we'll keep giving the excuse that, oh, they don't
have a job.
That's why they commit crime.
That's why the shoplifting from 7-Eleven.
Absolutely ridiculous.
Sundar is his name.
Hopefully a better tagline than I'm a monster.
First of all, really proud to be here today.
As an industry, I think this moment is historic and consequential.
And I think there are extraordinary benefits to this technology.
You can see it in the GDP growth we see.
We have to make sure we are addressing the risks.
And the president has asked us as an industry to step up and we want to make sure we are
putting our products safely.
And as Mark said, we are signing up to a set of processes and controls like we do in other
areas like financial controls in a company.
And we are bringing those well-known best practices to the development of.
So why would they all do this?
Why would they all do this?
Well, here we have a law and order president who wants to protect the American people from
predatory companies and wants to see our economy thrive and doesn't want to see these
companies plunder the middle class like they've been doing for a long time over the course
of recent history with big companies getting deals with the federal government that lets
them do whatever they want.
You want to talk about rogue?
Rogue is shipping all your jobs and all your factories overseas because you can make a
profit doing it.
That doesn't benefit America at all while making what?
Cheaper vehicles in the case of Ford, stuff that's breaking down constantly.
This is not what we're talking about here.
We're talking about an America first agenda for this economic growth.
This is going to be centered in our country.
These data centers are going to be here.
They're going to be in communities.
They're going to have the resources they need.
They're going to import their power.
They use way less water than the golf courses you've already got sitting around in your
neighborhood and the monsters running these companies.
They don't want to go to jail because we've got a law and order president here.
So they're not going to design stuff that preys upon people and hurts people.
They don't want to pay massive fines.
They don't want to have penalties.
They don't want people that work there to be looking over their shoulder thinking that
they just did something that they could get busted for.
They're going to be on their best behavior and self-policing works.
If you have real police watch standing people and they don't want anybody.
They don't want anything to go wrong.
I mean, the companies are at stake.
If something goes wrong, the companies are at stake.
They're not going to let that happen.
This is going to be all for the good.
And we're going to have it be nice and safe.
And they're really going to be policing each other.
And that's the way it works.
They're going to have to.
Or someone's going to go to jail.
They're going to want their competitors to go to jail.
National security is at risk with this technology.
We will support then a slowdown of the technology.
I will let the world know about it.
I would come out here.
I'd hold a news conference and I'd let the world know about it.
It's not going to happen.
But they're going to police themselves.
Risk to national security.
I think the consensus today around that national security issue was
being a leader in America in AI is the most important thing for national security.
I think everybody agreed on that thing.
Winning the AI race is winning.
And we need to do that.
That's the first principle.
The second principle that was discussed all day today was putting the American people first in that race.
Great.
And I think everybody came together around those two principles today.
Think of how up a creek Europe is right now.
They don't have any AI companies.
They don't even know what it is yet.
They're still figuring out what the bulldozer is over there because they can't even build anything.
Their countries are falling apart.
They're going to be in a lot of trouble.
The national security of countries in Europe who are totally against AI and don't know anything about it,
they're at risk.
They're the ones that are exposed.
Being the AI leader is the defense your national security is now going to need
because if a hostile adversary has a technology that you don't have
and they decide to afflict your population, afflict your water systems,
afflict your power systems with AI in some hostile manner that messes things up for you,
you're going to be totally defenseless.
And there are countries that are totally defenseless.
This is a huge national security issue.
But the way to make it worse is to shut it all down.
The way to make it worse is to impoverish your population by letting these jobs go somewhere else,
by letting some other country take the lead and seize the future and benefit their population
so that you now have to go to them for everything.
What do you think about that?
I'll see you in the next video.
