It provides a roadmap for visitors, covering everything from classic rides and immersive storytelling to upcoming expansions and seasonal celebrations across both parks.
Welcome to Tokyo Disney Resort in 2026. Home to two incredible parks, Tokyo Disneyland and
Tokyo DisneySea. From breathtaking themed lands and world-class attractions to spectacular
entertainment and unforgettable dining, this resort offers one of the most unique Disney
experiences anywhere in the world. In this guide we'll explore the must-do attractions,
hidden gems and everything you need to know before visiting. Hello there, I'm Mike and
welcome to Theme Park 101. That's right, today we'll be taking a look at all the rides, shows
and attractions at both parks of the Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan. Don't forget to stick around
until the end of each segment for a sneak peek at all the new attractions coming over the next
few years as well as all the special events that will be held throughout 2026. Our adventure begins
with the magical and iconic Tokyo Disneyland where you enter the park into the unique World Bazaar,
a grand Victorian style covered main street inspired by early 20th century America,
blending elegant architecture, unique merchandise and the park's central hub atmosphere beneath
its iconic glass canopy. It features lots of dining and shopping locations as well as two
side streets that take you directly to either Adventureland or Tomorrowland. Within World Bazaar
you can take a ride on the Omnibus which takes you on a nice little tour of the surrounding area.
You may even catch some live entertainment like the Tokyo Disneyland Band or the fun Bicycle
Piano that both perform at various times throughout the day. You'll also be able to find the Penny
Arcade which is home to lots of antique claw machines, sports games and other fun classic
arcade machines. If you keep heading straight through the World Bazaar you will come to the
incredible Cinderella Castle as well as the huge main hub area that is perfect for viewing the
which you can find out more about a little later in the video. From here you'll be able to access
many of the areas within the park beginning with my favourite Adventureland, a lush section of
jungles and exotic ports where swashbuckling pirates, tropical expeditions and immersive
storytelling transport you to the far corners of the globe. We begin with the New Orleans
subsection of the land which is home to the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean, the amazing
dark boat ride that takes you on a journey through many different scenes featuring an epic
battle, pirates taking over a town, some lost treasure and of course the despicable Captain
Jack Sparrow makes an appearance, resulting in a must ride attraction in Tokyo Disneyland.
For fans of this ride I would definitely suggest dining in the Blue Bayou restaurant and watch as
the boats float by. Further into the land you'll next come to the Theatre Orleans where you can
the fun outdoor show Jamboree Mickey Let's Dance, a high energy dance party that is perfect for
younger guests to dance and sing along to. As you leave the Orleans section you'll enter a more
tropical themed area starting with the classic boat ride Jungle Cruise Wildlife Expeditions
where you can enjoy an adventure as you meander down the river while surrounded by some amazing
animals, temples and lots of other colourful wildlife. As with all the entertainment in the
The skippers speak Japanese so you may miss some of the classic corny jokes but it's still a fun
ride nonetheless. Nearby you can catch the Western River Railroad that travels on a one way trip
through Adventureland, Westernland and Critter Country where you'll get some unique views of
some amazing attractions including Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain with many
beautiful dioramas and scenery throughout. Next up is the classic Disney show with a twist,
The Enchanted Tiki Room Stitch Presents Aloha E Ko Momoe that features all the regular impressive
audio animatronic birds, flowers and tiki statues performing songs from Lilo and Stitch and the
original Tiki Room show before being interrupted by the lovable alien. This is a wonderful show
and a great mixture of classic Disney and something fun for everyone to enjoy. If you like a good
dinner show then you can head to the Polynesian Terrace Restaurant for Mickey's Rainbow Luau,
a fun and entertaining Polynesian dining experience where Mickey and friends celebrate
with special music and dance styles while guests enjoy a delicious dinner. Unfortunately the final
attraction in Adventureland, The Swiss Family Treehouse has still yet to reopen since its
closure in 2022 but stick around until the end of the video for a little look at some exciting
plans for a whole new revamped Adventureland area that might be coming in the future.
We now move on to the next area Westernland which is Tokyo's version of Frontierland
celebrating the American Old West with rugged landscapes, riverboat charm and thrilling
adventures through Gold Rush Country. We begin with a fun show at the Country Bear Theatre
that features amazing singing bears performing tongue in cheek country songs in a mixture of
Japanese and English. The show also has two special overlays, Vacation Jamboree is played
throughout the summer that includes more of a rock based soundtrack and then Jingle Jamboree
can be seen during the winter months with plenty of Christmas songs. Next up is the popular Big
Thunder Mountain, the Mine Train Rollercoaster that takes you on an exciting journey through
some abandoned mines. On this runaway train ride you'll experience all the dips and turns as you
encounter some amazing scenery making it one of the most enjoyable family attractions in the park.
If you enjoy a more relaxing ride then head to the Mark Twain Riverboat that cruises around
the rivers of America as you take in the sights of Westernland, Tom Sawyer Island and Critter
Country making it perfect for taking a break between some of the more intense attractions
in the park. You can also take a raft to the Tom Sawyer Island that includes plenty of interactive
and scenic opportunities in its caves, forts and other exciting landmarks. This is another great
place to relax as you try to find all the hidden references to the classic Mark Twain novel. You
can also check out another dining show, the Diamond Variety Mustard that can be found at the
Diamond Horseshoe. Join your hosts Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar as they present a classic
American variety show with special guests like Mickey Mouse and friends where you'll be clapping
along to the catchy tunes in no time. This show will be closing soon to get a much needed revamp
but it should reopen at the end of November 2026. Finally you can have a go at the Westernland
Shooting Gallery where for a small fee you can shoot at various interactive targets and compete
to be the best sharpshooter. It's now time to head to the next area, Critter Country. A cosy
woodland hideaway home to rustic charm, playful critters and one of the park's most iconic log
flume adventures which is of course the only remaining splash mountain that takes you on an
exciting journey with Brer Rabbit as he leaves home for an adventure whilst being pursued by
You'll glide through many exciting scenes and shoot down a few splashing drops making it a great
way to cool down on a hot day. You can also enjoy Grandma Sara's Kitchen that is located within the
mountainside of Splash Mountain that offers stunning views of this classic attraction.
The other ride in Critter Country is the Beaver Brothers Explorer Canoes where you can head out
onto the rivers of America as you join in the fun and paddle around Tom Sawyer Island while taking
in the amazing sights of Tokyo Disneyland. This only operates on busy days, usually weekends and
the summer months. We now move on to the magical Fantasyland, a storybook kingdom of castles,
princesses and timeless Disney tales where classic dark rides and beautifully detailed attractions
bring beloved films to life. You'll first come to Dumbo the Flying Elephant, a classic aerial
spinning attraction that will dazzle younger and older guests alike as you fly around taking in
the sights and sounds of the area. Next door is the spooky Haunted Mansion, the classic Omnimover
dark ride that offers great theming and a fun storyline as well as one of the best ride pre-shows
in the infamous Stretching Room. You'll head through a number of spooky scenes featuring lots
of ghostly haunts and amazing special effects that is perfect for all the family and during the
Halloween and Christmas period you'll have a chance to try Haunted Mansion Holiday, a special overlay
themed to Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Next we head to the classic dark ride
Peter Pan's Flight as you board a flying pirate ship and travel through scenes in London and
Neverland. Throughout the day this ride can get very busy so I recommend getting here early to
avoid long lines. Next door is another classic dark ride Snow White's Adventures where you'll
head through a number of scenes including the Queen's transformation into the witch, Snow White
meeting the Dwarf and a slim escape from the witch's destruction attempts. We now head into
the beautiful Cinderella Castle for Cinderella's Fairy Tale Hall, a nice walkthrough attraction
that uses a mixture of paintings and murals to detail the princess's story and once you reach
the Grand Hall there are plenty of interactive features for you to enjoy. Back into the main
Fantasyland Courtyard and directly behind the castle is the Castle Carousel, the magical Disney
merry-go-round where you can choose to ride on one of the unique hand-painted horses and I suggest
riding at night to enjoy the amazing lit up scenery whilst listening to the organ based soundtrack of
Disney classics. Next door is the spinning teacup ride Alice's Tea Party based on the unbirthday
party scene in Walt Disney's Alice in Wonderland and don't forget to look out for the hidden door
mouse that appears throughout the ride. Up next we have Mickey's PhilharMagic, a great 3D show that
is filled with Disney characters and a fun storyline. Join Donald Duck as he goes through
scenes from some classic Disney animations including Fantasia, The Lion King, The Little
Mermaid as well as the more recent fan favourite Pixar's Coco. Next door is Pinocchio's Daring
Journey, another amazing dark ride which takes you to Stromboli Circus, Pleasure Island and the
inside of Monstro the Whale from the 1940 animated classic. At the back of Fantasyland is the excellent
indoor boat ride It's a Small World that features over 300 audio-animatronic dolls in traditional
costumes from cultures around the world and a song in Japanese, Mandarin and English that will get
stuck in your head for days. At the beginning of the year you can also enjoy the special version
called It's a Small World with Groot until June 28th where you can look out for versions of Groot
that have been spread around this amazing attraction. Just around the corner is Pooh's Honey
Hunt, a trackless dark ride that takes you through a variety of scenes filled with all your favourite
characters which is perfect for the younger guests and fans of the honey loving bear. You'll need to
continue around the park to get to the extended section of Fantasyland which is based on Beauty
and the Beast. It includes the Beast Castle, two dining locations and the exciting attraction
Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast, another amazing trackless dark ride that takes you through
the story of the animated classic all set within the enchanted castle. All the scenes feature
incredible audio-animatronics of Belle, the Beast and other characters from the movie as well as a
soundtrack of all your favourite songs. Also in this section is the Fantasyland Forest Theatre
and the great original show Mickey's Magical Music World, a fun performance that sees Mickey and
friends discovering a magical music box deep in the forest. You'll be transported into different
worlds from Disney animations as all the characters and songs come to life. Make sure to
arrive early for this amazing show. We now head into Toontown, a colourful cartoon neighbourhood
where guests step into the playful oversized world of Mickey and friends in a land designed
especially for younger families in mind. You can take a look inside Mickey's house and meet the
main mouse himself or meet Minnie in her unique style studio. You can also take a tour of Minnie's
house and Donald's boats, have some fun with the interactive elements at Goofy's Paint and Playhouse
or burn off some steam at the play areas Chippendale's Treehouse and Toon Park.
Other fun attractions in Toontown include Gadget's Go Coaster, a junior roller coaster themed to
Chippendale's Rescue Rangers where younger guests will love this fun thrilling adventure that
includes lots of colourful figures on display. The final attraction in Toontown is Roger Rabbit's
Cartoon Spin, a dark ride themed to the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit. As the name suggests,
this ride spins as it follows a track through a variety of scenes featuring a host of characters
from the classic live action film. It's now time to head to the final area of the park, Tomorrowland,
a sleek optimistic vision of the future where high energy attractions, space adventures and
cutting edge design showcase Tokyo Disneyland's modern innovation. There are two new attractions
coming to this area in 2027 which you can find out more at the end of this video.
You'll first come to the popular The Happy Ride with Baymax which gives you the chance to ride
with the lovable healthcare companion robot from Big Hero 6. The whip ride swings guests round and
round to a backdrop of an original pumping soundtrack and is great fun for all the family.
Next you can head to Stitch Encounter, an interactive show that allows younger guests
to communicate with Stitch via a live satellite link up as you'll need to assist him through a
adventures. Due to the nature of this technology, it makes each viewing a totally unique experience
and even though the show is only in Japanese, it's still enjoyable to watch.
On the other side of Tomorrowland is Star Tours The Adventures Continue,
the classic 3D motion simulator ride that will take you on an amazing expedition through the
worlds of Star Wars. With scenes from all three trilogies and even popular tv shows like Ahsoka
and The Mandalorian, no two rides are the same, which means it's perfect to re-ride over and over
again. Next door is the indoor amphitheatre Showbase which is home to the high energy show
Club Mouse Beat, a huge stage show that uses a variety of sets and musical styles that includes
characters and songs from Cars, Zootopia, A Goofy Movie and of course Mickey and Minnie join in with
this fun and entertaining show. The final attraction in Tomorrowland is the awesome
Monsters Inc Ride and Go Seek, a fun interactive dark ride that transports you to the city of
Monstropolis as you join in a game of Flashlight Tag. Each guest is given a flashlight as you try
to find all the interactive elements that activate when you shine a light on the different Monsters
Inc helmets. This is a great original attraction that's lots of fun to compete with your family
and friends. So that rounds up all the rides and attractions within the park, but that's not all.
There are also some fantastic parades and night time shows that Tokyo Disneyland has to offer
all year round. First up is the fantastic daytime parade Disney Harmony in Colour that features 11
colourful floats celebrating adventure, family and friendship which includes characters from Coco,
Zootopia, Big Hero 6 and Tangled as well as a host of Disney Princesses and other classic Disney
characters. The finale features Mickey and Minnie along with their closest friends in an overall
amazing parade that you won't want to miss. Starting in Fantasyland, the parade route comes
down through Western Land around the main hub area in front of the castle before ending in
Toontown. You can also enjoy the Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights that features Mickey
and his pals as well as characters from Aladdin, Toy Story and other classic Disney films appearing
on colourful floats that uses special lighting effects that makes this an incredible dazzling
night time show that uses the regular parade route so there is plenty of space to enjoy this
You can also enjoy the night time spectacular Reach for the Stars that brings beloved Disney
characters to life as it uses impressive projections and pyrotechnics along with an
amazing soundtrack that is perfect for all the family to enjoy. To end each night there is also
a unique fireworks show called Sky Full of Colours which illuminates the night time sky
with colourful fireworks to the soundtrack of some classic Disney songs making it the best way to
wrap up your day at the wonderful Tokyo Disneyland. The park also hosts lots of unique and special
events throughout the year including Disney Palpalooza Vanellope Sweet Pop World, a candy
inspired event hosted by Vanellope from Wreck it Ralph from April 9th to June 30th and Summer
Cool Off featuring water based entertainment and Get Soaked shows to help beat the Japanese heat
as well as special interactive games and Toy Story 5 character meet and greets from July 2nd to
September 14th as well as their usual Halloween and Christmas events a little later in the year.
They all include unique entertainment, decorations and limited time merch and food items making them
all a perfect chance to elevate any visit. It's now time to take a look at the future of Tokyo
Disneyland with the park releasing a detailed plan for the next 10 years beginning with the two new
rides in Tomorrowland. First up is Space Mountain the brand new futuristic version of the classic
attraction which will bring a whole new storyline and special effects to this fast speed indoor
coaster along with an all new modern hub area creating a new central landmark to Tomorrowland.
Next up is the replacement of Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters that will be rethemed to a Wreck
it Ralph based attraction where guests will enter the colourful arcade world of Sugar Rush the candy
themed racing game from the film where you'll need to help shoot glitches in this fun interactive
shooting dark ride which will be perfect for all the family. This is set to open in Spring 2027
with Space Mountain expected to open a little later in the year. The park also announced a
revamp to Adventureland a little later in the decade that could include all new attractions
and theming which we hope to hear more about in the future. Either way Tokyo Disneyland is
continuing to evolve and we can't wait for all these new additions over the coming years.
So that wraps up all the current and future attractions in Tokyo Disneyland
it's now time to head next door to the incredible Tokyo DisneySea.
As you make your way through the DisneySea Plaza and in through the park entrance you'll first
enter into the Mediterranean Harbour inspired by an Italian coastal port where romantic canals,
colourful architecture and spectacular waterfront shows set the stage for an incredible adventure.
The major attraction in this port is the awesome Soaring Fantastic Flight the popular flying
simulator ride that is housed in the magnificent museum where you head on a journey that showcases
awesome world landmarks including the Great Wall of China, the Sydney Opera House, the Pyramids of
Giza and many more before returning back to the beautiful Tokyo DisneySea. This is a great ride
for all the family and one of the most popular attractions in the park so I would suggest
heading here first for lower wait times. Next you can head to the amazing walkthrough
attraction Fortress Explorations which celebrates the golden age of innovators like Leonardo da
Vinci and Marco Polo. This also serves as the headquarters for the Society of Explorers and
Adventurers with many different interactive exhibits and experiences which can be enjoyed
freely or along with a fun game the Leonardo Challenge. On the other side of the Mediterranean
Harbour you can take a nice relaxing ride on the Venetian Gondolas as the gondoliers take you on
an adventure around the Palazzo Canals whilst sharing stories about the surrounding scenery.
Within the harbour you may be able to spot some of your favourite characters travelling around
the waterways and in the evening you can watch the amazing Believe Sea of Dreams,
the incredible water show that features some colourful boats filled with all your favourite
characters along with some awesome special effects including lasers, pyrotechnics and
projection mapping that fills up the whole of the harbour. With a killer soundtrack this is a
great show not to be missed. The final attraction in this opening port is the Disney Sea Transit
Steamer Line, the special water transportation system that links three of the lands within the
park. You can travel between the Mediterranean Harbour, the American Waterfront and the Lost
River Delta making it a great way to navigate the park or you can just enjoy the fun relaxing ride
and take in the amazing scenery. We will continue on the Transit Steamer Line to the next port,
the American Waterfront, a beautifully detailed recreation of early 20th century New York and
Cape Cod where towering ocean liners, jazz aged charm and thrilling attractions bring the golden
age of transatlantic travel to life. The first ride you'll come to is Toy Story Mania, the
interactive 3D shooting gallery featuring lots of different targets and characters from the Toy
Story franchise, making it the perfect attraction to compete with your family and friends to get the
highest score. Next up standing tall above the waterfront is Tower of Terror where you'll enter
the mysterious Hotel Hightower where a priceless idol known as Shiriki Utundu is said to carry a
powerful curse. Soon you'll find yourself riding a haunted service elevator that plunges into
darkness delivering the sudden drops in eerie atmosphere that make this one of the most
thrilling attractions in the park. Nearby you can watch the brand new outdoor show Dance the Globe
where Mickey and friends perform special dances to different musical styles from countries all
over the world. Next we head to the SS Columbia, the huge ocean liner that includes two dining
locations and beautiful views of the park and the surrounding area, as well as Turtle Talk,
an interactive show starring Crush the Sea Turtle from Finding Nemo. The animated characters
interact with the audience which makes it especially exciting for the younger guests.

around the American waterfront. You may get to head out on the open top town car, a delivery truck,
police wagon and others as you take in the sights and sounds of this beautiful port.
Near the entrance of the New York section of this area is the Disney Sea Electric Railway,
an elevated electric trolley car system that offers amazing views and conveniently transports
guests to Port Discovery. We now move on to the smaller Cape Cod section of the American waterfront
where you can first find the dock for the transit steamer line that can take you onto the Lost River
Delta. You'll also be able to enjoy the Duffy and Friends Wonderful Friendship, a special character
dining experience at the Cape Cod Cook Off Restaurant. Delight in this awesome stage show
with Duffy and Friends while dining on burgers, nuggets or Japanese curry. Make sure you book a
reservation for this popular dining experience. Finally you can also meet Duffy and Friends at
the nearby village greeting place that gets very busy throughout the day so make sure you arrive
early to avoid disappointment. We now head to Port Discovery, a futuristic marina filled with
mysteries of the oceans blending imaginative technology with playful experiments and unique
attractions. First up is Aquatopia, a trackless water ride that uniquely travels through the water
as it spins and glides throughout the marina. During the summer the attraction is split into
the regular dry version or you can choose the wet version that adds water fountains and the
chance to get soaked. The other attraction in this port is Nemo and Friends Searider,
a large-scale motion simulator ride where guests board a fish-shaped submarine and are shrunk down
to the size of a typical sea creature. You're then guided by Dory and Nemo as they head on an
adventure through the ocean making it a great attraction for all the family. Also don't forget
you can catch the Disney Sea Electric Railway back to the American waterfront while enjoying
the views of both ports. Stick around until the end of the video to find out what's in store for
the future of Port Discovery. We now move on to the Lost River Delta, a remote Central American jungle
where ancient ruins hide powerful secrets, adventurous explorers uncover legendary temples
and thrilling expeditions push deep into uncharted territory. You'll first come to the hangar stage
that is home to the fun show Dreams Take Flight where a host of Disney characters assist Pilot
Minnie in building her airplane with many different enjoyable songs and dance routines.
As you cross the Lost River you'll next see the ancient Mexican temple which is home to Indiana
Jones Adventure Temple of the Crystal Skull, a fantastic dark ride that takes you into the
incredible story with Dr Jones as he searches for the fountain of youth. Unfortunately this
closed at the end of 2025 for scheduled maintenance with no confirmed reopening date but we hope to
see the return of this great attraction a little later in the year. Behind the Mayan temple is a
special meet and greet area where you can meet Mickey, Minnie and Donald in their unique explorers
outfits. The other major attraction in the Lost River Delta is Raging Spirits, a steel roller
coaster that travels in and around the jungle and through the 5,000 year old temple and is the only
attraction to feature an inversion at the Tokyo Disney Resort with its single vertical loop which
also makes it one of the most thrilling rides in the park. As mentioned before you can also take
the DisneySea Transit steamer line from the Lost River Delta that will take you back to the
entrance of the park. We now head to the newest port in Tokyo DisneySea, Fantasy Springs, a
breathtaking land where magical springs bring the worlds of Frozen, Tangled and Peter Pan to life
through immersive landscapes and storybook adventures. We begin with Peter Pan's Neverland,
home to two amazing attractions as well as some incredible scenery where lots of hidden secrets
are waiting to be discovered. The main attraction is Peter Pan's Neverland Adventure, a spectacular
3D dark ride that takes guests on a magical journey through Neverland. Combining immersive
environments with impressive screen technology, this family friendly adventure lets you experience
the world of Peter Pan in a whole new way. The other ride in this area is the delightful Fairy
Tinkerbell's Busy Buggies, a cute outdoor track ride where you'll need to help Tinkerbell deliver
parcels and packages to four seasonal locations. With spinning ride vehicles and cute animal audio
animatronics, this is perfect for the little ones. We'll now move on to the next section of
Fantasy Springs, Rapunzel's Forest, which is home to Rapunzel's Lantern Festival, a gentle boat ride
that takes guests into the enchanted world of Tangled, where beautiful scenes fill with stunning
visuals and music from the film which helps bring this beloved story to life. Throughout the area
there are plenty of other discoveries to be made including the fun snuggly duckling restaurant and

Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey, a beautifully themed boat ride that brings the popular story
of Frozen to life, combining stunning scenery, memorable music and magical moments with Anna,
Elsa and all your other favourite characters. Similar to the other two sections, Frozen Kingdom
is filled with lots of places to explore including shops, restaurants and beautifully themed locations
that bring the world of Arendelle to life. The next port is the Arabian Coast, inspired by the
magical stories of Aladdin and the legends of Arabian Nights. This vibrant port is filled with
golden palaces, mystical caves and enchanting adventures. The first attraction you'll come to
is Jasmine's Flying Carpet, which gives you the chance to control your own magic carpet as you
spin around Jasmine's garden creating a fun little adventure that is perfect for the younger guests.
Next up is Sinbad's Storybook Voyage, a relaxing boat ride that follows the adventures of Sinbad
and his loyal companion Chandu. With beautifully detailed scenes, charming characters and a
memorable soundtrack, this classic attraction has become a favourite among many DisneySea visitors.

On the other side of the port is Caravan Carousel, a two-storey merry-go-round that lets you ride
traditional horses as well as various Arabian animals like camels, elephants and griffins.

The final attraction in the Arabian Coast is the Magic Lamp Theatre,
a fun and entertaining 3D show inspired by Aladdin. Combining live performances with
impressive visual effects, this lively experience brings the magic and humour of the genie to life.
Moving into the centre of the park, the next port of call is Mermaid Lagoon,
an enchanting underwater kingdom ruled by Ariel, where colourful coral caverns,
playful sea creatures and family-friendly attractions create a whimsical world beneath the waves.
Let's begin with the two outdoor attractions, starting with Flounder's Flying Fish Coaster,
a fun junior rollercoaster themed around Ariel's friend Flounder as you glide along with a school
of flying fish. Next is Scuttle's Scooters, a playful spinning ride where guests board colourful
hermit crabs and whirl around beneath the watchful eye of Scuttle the seagull.
For the remaining attractions, you'll need to head inside the enormous Triton's Kingdom,
where you'll first come to the Whirlpool, a spinning teacup-style ride where you'll
whirl around in colourful kelp cups on a fun underwater adventure.
Next is Ariel's Playground, filled with loads of fun and interactive elements featuring Ariel's
and her collection of treasures, a shipwreck, Ursula's Lair and dungeon, as well as statues
that shoot water, making it a great place for the younger guests to play and explore.
Further along is Jumpin' Jellyfish, a gentle drop ride where you'll board colourful jellyfish
for a light-hearted journey under the sea. Unfortunately, the popular show that once
played in the Mermaid Lagoon theatre has yet to return since its closure in 2020,
though many fans are still hoping it will make a comeback in the future.
The final attraction in Mermaid Lagoon is Blowfish Balloon Race, a fun spinning ride
that lifts guests into the air before swirling them around beneath the sea.
We now come to the final area in this guide, Mysterious Island. Built inside the towering
Mount Prometheus volcano, this Jules Verne inspired port blends steampunk technology
with scientific exploration as daring expeditions venture deep into the earth and beneath the sea.
You can find two great attractions here, starting with 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,
an immersive dark ride where guests board Neptune submarines and descend into a mysterious
world beneath the ocean. With impressive effects and beautifully themed environments,
this is another great underwater adventure for the whole family.
The final attraction in Mysterious Island is Journey to the Centre of the Earth,
where you'll enter Captain Nemo's mysterious base inside Mount Prometheus,
before embarking on an incredible expedition deep beneath the volcano. With amazing special
effects and thrilling moments, this is one of the park's most iconic attractions.
To end each night, there is also a unique fireworks show called Sky Full of Colours,
which illuminates the nighttime sky with colourful fireworks to the soundtrack of
some classic Disney songs, making it the best way to wrap up your day at the wonderful Tokyo Disney
Sea. So that rounds up all the current rides and attractions within the park, but that's not all.
There are also some fantastic events that are hosted throughout the year.
2026 marks the 25th anniversary of Tokyo Disney Sea, so the park will be hosting the special
sparkling jubilee celebration that will include all new shows, immersive experiences and nighttime
entertainment. Along with lots of decorations and exclusive merchandise and food items,
starting from April 15th all the way to March 2027. The food and wine festival will return
