I wore an AI ring for a full workday. Then I let Claude read every conversation from that day through MCP. No exports, no uploads, no copy paste. This is the Vocci AI Ring. It is not a health tracker and it is not a voice recorder. It is a context layer between your real life and your AI tools.
In this video I show the three gestures, the specs, and what a real day with the ring looks like. I recorded a sponsor call, a content brainstorm, and a random coffee idea. Vocci pulled all three into one organized doc without me telling it where to look. Then I connected it to Claude with the Vocci MCP integration and watched Claude reference things I said out loud. I also cover the real drawbacks: the $299 price, the subscription, transcription limits, and recording etiquette.

I do NOT sell any products of my own. Watch out for scams.
The biggest bottleneck with AI right now is not the model, it's context. And for example,
think about how much time you spend just re-explaining things to Chakchabuti or Claude
or copy pasting notes and conversations and context or retyping what happened in a meeting,
just building a layer of context that supplies the intelligence and the awareness of the AI.
AIs are smart today, the models are smart, but they don't know everything about your actual life.
And there's lots of solutions to this that take fragments of it and merge it into this
layer of context for AI. But there's a lot that those tools miss, and there's a lot of tools.
So here's the question, what if every AI tool that you use just already knew everything from
your day? Every conversation, every idea, every commitment or to-do that you said out loud,
that is what we're testing today. I wore this ring for a full workday. And by the end of this video,
Claude is going to read my real conversations directly, no exporting, no uploading, no copy
paste, just a supreme unified layer of context for my AIs to do better work on my behalf and help me
be more productive, get more done and save time. That's going to be the video. It's going to be
a fun one. Let's go. So this is Voxie. It's an AI ring. And let me be clear to start about what
it's not. This is not a health tracker. There's no heart rate, no sleep score, and it's not a voice
recorder either. Again, the way I would describe it is as a context layer between your real life
and your AI tools. It will capture what happens in your day and then makes that usable with the AI
ecosystem or nodes, your agents, your tech VT, your Claude that you already work with. So Voxie
partnered with me to make this video happen and show you guys the new era and where we're going
with AI hardware and technology. And you're going to get my honest experience with it,
including the stuff I would change. That's the deal. That's how it works. So it works off of
three gestures. Number one, you double click to start recording. Number two, you single click
while recording to drop a highlight. That's basically a bookmark for something important.
And then number three, you long press to talk to the Voxie AI directly. And we'll get to that later
because that is really interesting. As far as the specs go of the actual product, you can get eight
hours of continuous recording from it. It can pick up voices about five meters away. It is IP67
water resistant, and it looks like actual jewelry, right? You wear it on your index finger. Nobody
in meetings is going to clock it as a tech product. And that's the hardware side of it,
the hardware specs, but the software is where it gets really interesting. Now, real quick,
if you do want to set this up yourself and follow along with what I'm going to show you,
the link for that is in the description or just comment the word V-O-C-C-I under this video,
and we will auto reply with the link. And that in mind, let's get into what a full day with this
thing is actually like. So I wore the ring for a full workday and three moments really mattered
there, right? Number one, we had a sponsor call in the morning. I double click, I record, I'm done,
and I just have the conversation like normal. Then second, I had a content brainstorm in the
afternoon where I was thinking through a new video series out loud when I said something
worth keeping, single click, highlight. And then third, this is the one that sold me on the form
factor. I had a random idea while I was making coffee. Normally that idea will die in about 90
seconds. Instead, I double click, I say something out loud, and I moved on with my life. And then
after that, everything's in the app. So you have your transcripts with speaker labels, your
highlights or action items that are pulled out automatically. And if that's where it ended,
it would be a nice recorder. But that's where the ring actually starts, right? So the difference
between this and a recorder app is a recorder gives you files. The idea with this is that it
connects conversations across time. So the sponsor call, the brainstorm, the coffee idea, those were
three separate moments that took place hours apart, but they were all about the same project.
And so watch this. In one sentence, it pulled the relevant pieces from three different conversations
into a single organized doc. So the deadlines, the angles from the brainstorm, the coffee idea
in one place. I didn't tell it which recordings to look at. It figured out what was related,
and that is the context layer doing its job. But that's all still living inside the Voxy app,
whereas that's not how we all engage with AI. We use our Chakchiviti, Grok, Gemini,
Claude. So that brings us to what I think is really important here in the real context layer
moment, which is Voxy supports an MCP or a model context protocol. That's an open standard that
lets AI tools plug into outside data sources directly. So basically, Claude, GPT, whatever
you use can read all of your context natively. No exports, no uploads, no copy paste. The AI
just has access to your entire life of conversations and ideas and meetings.
So let's look at that now. For example, you can see Claude. It reached into my day,
referencing things that I just said out loud while making coffee. And that sentence would
have sounded insane two years ago. And that is what I really mean by this context layer,
being able to transmute your ideas, your moments, your to do's from your life into your AI systems
so they can work better for you. That is work and context built from your actual words, your
actual deadlines and the priorities that you say on, for example, real meetings. And so you can do
things like get follow up emails drafted from what was said on a call. You can set deadlines on a
calendar. And the point is not that it connects to Chakchiviti or Claude specifically, it's that
your memory becomes useful through this MCP across every AI system. Whatever tool wins in two years,
take the context with you. That is a fundamentally different product than a voice recorder.
That in mind, I think it's a pretty incredible category. But what are the drawbacks? First is
the price. So it's $299 for the ring and there's a subscription for extended transcription and
the AI features. So core recording is free, but the stuff that makes this video worth watching
is going to be behind that subscription. So you do have to factor that in. Number two,
the transcription accuracy held up pretty fine in testing, which is what matters for this use
case. But I wouldn't buy this expecting kind of podcast quality recordings and in things like
crowds, that's going to be a pretty difficult situation for recording. And then number three,
and this one is important, is recording etiquette or just privacy. You should tell people you're
recording. I do that on my calls. There are places you simply should not use this. Be a normal person
about it. Respect local laws and just respect other people because they won't be able to see
that you are recording. And number four, the value of a context layer scales with how consistently
you actually wear it and use it. If you use it once a week or twice and forget about it,
then you don't get the full use out of it. There are marginally positive returns to using it. The
more you use it, the more valuable it becomes. That has its advantages for if you use it a lot,
you do have to really integrate it into your life to get most of the use out of it. So long
story short, that is the Voxie AI ring. And if you're already living with and working with these
AI tools, this really, I think, is the start of the phenomenon that you'll see of the products
and services to close the loop between your real life and those tools. And if that's you,
you are the person who should be looking at this. It's a pretty incredible world we live in with
these tools. And I think what we're going to see emerge in the next 3, 5, 10 years is just
going to be incredible. It's going to be a journey. With that in mind, like I said,
if you want to give this ring a test run yourself, comment V-O-C-C-I under this video or go to this
link on the screen or in the description. With that in mind, I appreciate y'all being here,
and I will see you in the next one. Cheers.
