Let me start it by keeping a 100. I've
never chased any city exclusive, not
even the T endless boa, even though I'm
Portuguese. The exclusive sneaker wave
like it's not really how I roll, but I
understand it when those sneakers start
hitting the formal does too, right? And
that already happened to me. I'm talking
about the Air Jordan 1 multiverse
Spider-Man, the Air Jordan 4, Spine
Green, and even the Louis Vuitton skate.
That feeling of hype is something that
all sneaker heads are connected to. Now,
hold up. I'm saying all this because
next week is coming with a lot of energy
for the sneaker game. Way bigger than
just hypo sales. We're talking about
sneakers as stories, identity, culture,
everything. You'll see. So, if you're
thinking what does a Jenton Park has to
do with a guy that has never chased any
city exclusive and stick with me because
that's exactly what we're going to break
down today. So, next week Jordan Brand
is dropping something special, the Jason
Tatum World Tour Pack. We're talking
about a pair that's connected to major
cities like London, Tokyo, New York,
Shanghai, and of course, each in its
cultural narrative. The London Park, for
example, takes inspirations from the
iconic London underground subway system
with patterns that mimics the Baker and
Victoria line train. Is it exclusive?
Well, absolutely. But beyond
exclusivity, this sneaker is telling a
bigger story. Tatum isn't just an NBA
superstar that's recovering from an
Achilles injury. He's the kind of guy
that's the symbol of perseverance
and of international impact like
international. This pack is about all
that about identity and everything
because imagine if you're a London guy
and you see a London pair then you're
instantly going to love it. Like not
necessarily the pair but the action
behind it. So you're subconsciously
going to like Jason Tatum and maybe even
love him. I don't know man. It's your
choice. And now you might be thinking,
yo, what does that have to do with me
that has never chased a city exclusive?
And here's the real talk because whether
you're grabbing like city exclusives or
any limited edition, it's the story
behind a pair that resonates. It's about
the moments of struggle. Like we know
that JM Tatum is recovering from a
Achilles injury. So he used that to make
a new pack. Well, that's great, right?
And speaking of struggle, let's talk
about JM Tatum. But let's get it more
personal because Jason Tatum is
rehabbing a tough Achilles injury aiming
to return on court in March of 2026. And
while that's an NBA injury, I kind of
relate to that because I injured myself
back in 2022. But what did I do? I
decided to keep playing for three more
years. You see, 3 years while I was
injured. So, you can already understand.
Yeah, it just got worse. And now I'm
deep in rehab focusing on recovery. And
that's why for me this TTM pack is
actually good. Like not the pair, the
color, but like the story behind it
because I kind of relate to it. Now
talking of stories, next week is also
coming with the Nigo Air Force 3 Kids
Sushi Pack. And this drop is special.
It's rooted in Japanese art of Kitsuji,
which is basically a beautiful practice
of repairing broken pottery by mending
the crocs with gold. These sneaker
celebrate imperfections like with that
wabishabi. This one just hits hard with
the M Japan meme. Like, no man, you're
not that guy. It's not tough, bro. It's
not tough. You know that legacy is huge
in the sneaker world, right? Because
next week is coming as well with the Air
Jordan 10 Shadow. This shoe is iconic
because it echoes the first model, well,
the model that Michael Jordan first used
when he came back in 1995. The same
energy flows through the Kobe sneaker
line next week. The Kobe 9 low proto em
is dropping November 22nd. Keeping
Kobe's legacy alive with his new tech
and fresh design, even years after his
passing, he's still a goat and he's
still remembered every single day. Now,
I want to highlight something that's
completely transforming the sneaker
culture. Women sneaker releases are
becoming mainstream. I don't know if you
realize that next week, signature models
like Caitlyn Clark, Juju Walkinson,
Angel Ree, and others are dropping, and
it's no longer a hype or a novel. I
actually know quite a few guys that hit
the court, the basketball court with
Sabrinas on foot, which means that it's
no more just about Michael Jordan, Kobe,
LeBron James, Jamarant, but we're having
Caitlyn Clark, we're having Sabrina's,
we're having Guju Watkinson, Angel Ree,
we're having more women to the sneaker
game, which is beautiful, right? And
finally, while these drops are
happening, big brands are pulling back
on volume just before Black Friday,
which is a saving mood to build
anticipation, to control the hype, and
like control you during Black Friday.
And that just reminds me of Black Friday
when I was little because my birthday is
in December. So, my family and I, we
enjoyed Black Friday to buy myself a
gaming laptop and a steering wheel
because my mom bought me a Gran Turismo
game to the PlayStation. And I mean,
that's beautiful. I love you, Mom. But
for the big brands, it's just about
strategy. And that is happening to the
sneaker culture, too, at least during
Black Friday. So, you see that next week
there's a lot of sneaker drops that are
quite good. Comment down below which one
