The Return of Clayomi, Kostyuk, Raducanu & more in action on Day 2 in Rome | WTA Match Highlights.

That's too good. That's the way to start. Makes it look so simple. Nice finish. Been a nice start between these two. Got there with time to spare. 10 minutes or so. In the strike zone. Spectacular finish to an outstanding set of tennis from Naomi Osaka. It really was. It Simply stunning performance today from Naomi Osaka. 40 winners from her. Underlines the quality she found against Sara Irani. That's a very good point from Maya Joint because she was immediately forced into the corner. Yes goodbye. That was beautifully finished off by Raducanu. What a game. Well that is a stunning sequence of shots. Second break point. Did well. Did really well. Oh fabulous shot again from Joint. Finds the line beautifully. Will stay with serve. Made the right decision. That is the break of serve that Raducanu was searching for. What a first meeting between these two. What an effort from her even though she comes away having lost. And what a win from Emma Raducanu. Oh beautifully done by Ayala. Just pushing it down the line. It's on the line. Oh superb from Kostiuk. It's great defense at the net from Ayala. Ukrainian now in complete control. So Kostiuk with the double break. I don't think was quite expecting that. And Kostiuk wasn't going to let that opportunity pass her by. And there it is. Marta Kostiuk through to the second round. Only her second ever win in a main draw match in Rome. And it was a dominant display against the 19 year old. Nice big forehand from Tyra to get things going. And she's already got herself a half chance here. Oh she tried to make a very elegant taking off the pace of the forehand. Oh there it is. What a finish. And what a way to make a statement early in her first event representing Italy in the city of her birth at the Italian Open. Tyra Grant has herself a one-set lead. And what a finish using her quality skills at the net to seal the deal 6-3. Like a quick flashback two weeks prior to that I played against her in Barcelona. I won in quarterfinals. Oh the best one so far. I had my favorite drop shot of Tyra's in that first set What a comeback. What a comeback. She had to come back the whole of the decisive set. And that'll be it. Heartbreak in Rome for the Italians but elation for Croatia's Antonia Ruzic. What an effort to come back saving two match points to dismiss the 17 year old Tyra Katerina Grant.
