T3 MICRO SINGLEPASS X VS GHD MAX WIDE STRAIGHTENER

Hey guys, welcome back to my YouTube channel. If you're new here, I'm Jalissa. Today's video is very requested. You guys have been wanting me to do a side-by-side comparison of the T3 I just turned it on. The T3 Single Pass X Straightener. This is a 1.5 inch straightener and you guys want me to compare it to the GHD Max which is a 2 inch straightener. So these two are very similar. They both are around the same price in like the 200 price range. T3 and GHD have to be like some of my favorite hair tool brands. So it's going to be a tough battle today. Let's see which side looks better at the end. But first, I have to touch up my hair because my hair is pretty dirty. Like this is day three hair. So I have to definitely add some dry shampoo, some heat protectant before I put heat on my hair. So I want to share with you guys my favorite dry shampoo at the moment. It works super, super well. So I'm going to show you guys how to use this quick. So first step, you have to shake this up a little bit and then just spray it a little bit far away from your scalp. I like that this makes my hair smell so amazing. You wait 30 seconds and then you kind of massage the product in your scalp and immediately it just feels so nice and clean. So now I'm going to do this set. As you can see, the scalp looks a little bit oily. So we're just going to get rid of that with the dry shampoo. So shake it up and then just spray. So now I'm just going to massage this into my scalp just like that and immediately it looks so much more clean and less oily. I can definitely notice a big difference and I like that this doesn't leave a white cast. Like my hair is very dark and I never feel like this leaves a white cast. I can walk out my house. I can just spray this, walk out and not have to worry about having a random white spot at the back of my head, you know, because I know that this doesn't really leave a white cast. It also gives my hair a lot of volume which I really, really like. I already have so much more volume than when I started this video and my hair looks a lot cleaner and even like shiny but not in an oily, greasy way. And let me move on to my next IGK product that I have to add before putting heat on my hair because I need to protect my hair from the heat and I love this IGK Good Behaviors Beardly Nut Protein Smoothing Spray because it protects my hair from the heat up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. My hair gets very frizzy in the warmer months so I definitely need a spray like this and I like that this is a dry spray. I just really like that this protects my hair from the heat but it doesn't get it wet. I don't know how to explain it. It almost feels like dry shampoo and hairspray mixed together, like that texture. It's not, it's not as sticky as hairspray but this gives me so much shine as well. So we're going to use the T3 Micro first. This straightener is a little bit smaller than the GHD but they almost look like they're the same size. The GHD one is a little bit newer to me so I've been using a little bit more but this one leaves my hair so straight. Like if you want that very straight, straight look then you need to try this one out. The T3 one like, do you guys see that? How it just immediately made my hair a lot more sleek than it was before. At the end I'm going to do a side-by-side curl as well just to show you guys what type of curl you can get with each plate. I like that you can get very close to the roots with these plates as you can see. It's just like very thin on the side so you can get very close to the roots and get a very sleek look. This side is looking so shiny, like wait till you guys see how much shine I'm getting on this side. Like it's crazy. These products really make my hair look so shiny. It doesn't matter what I do to my hair, my hair always looks so shiny with IGK products. It's crazy. You see how close I'm able to get to the root? Like I really really like that about this straightener. I've tried other straighteners that have like some designs on it and kind of like are just thicker on the sides and then you can't get close to the roots so I just rather have something simple like this. Sleek looking just like very plain thin and that's going to work well. Okay so here's the T3 side. It's looking so nice and smooth, so shiny. Look at that shine. Okay so let's move on to the GHD side. So as you can see for this one it only has one heat setting so you just press one button and then it warms up in like 10 seconds. It warms up so quickly as well and yeah this one has a bigger plate. It's two inches so it's a little bit bigger than the T3. I just want to do this section right here. Yeah I just feel like this one has like a better grip like it kind of holds the hair a little bit better than the T3. For some reason I feel like it gets just as hot as a T3 so I feel like this heat setting is just fine for me. So yeah I'm just doing a couple of passes because I just want my hair to look extra extra sleek but as you can see this side is also looking so shiny. Do you guys see that? Wow. And this side of my hair actually is more curly than the other side so this side definitely has a little bit more of waves coming through at the root so I guess I gave like the harder side to the GHD but if my hair is blown out both sides are like pretty easy to do. I guess when my hair is just like curly that's when it's super hard to blow out all my hair. I also like that you can get pretty close to the roots with this straightener so you're getting a sleek look all the way from the root to the bottom. All right guys I'm back this is the GHD side it looks so good it looks so healthy look at that shine I'm just impressed like my hair looks so smooth. What do you guys think? Do you like the GHD side better? This is what it looks like and then this is the T3 side it also looks so smooth so shiny I honestly can't even decide which side I like better like both sides look so good. To finish off the look I'm going to use a little tiny bit of the IGK Cry Baby this is a smoothing serum and this is going to help control frizz up to 72 hours so I'm just going to add a little tiny bit the tiniest bit because I don't want my hair to be you know too oily or anything but you really only need a little bit a little bit goes such a long way but I just want to add a little little tiny bit to the top right here because I just want these flyaways to come down just a little tiny bit and then I'm just going to add whatever is left on the ends just to make them look very moisturized and shiny but now let's do a curl on each side with each straightener just to see what type of curl you can get. This is a two inch straightener so it is going to give you a different type of curl than the T3 which is only 1.5 inch like one and a half inch so let's do a curl with the GHC just flipping the hair tool and just slowly bringing it down just taking my time with it because this straightener is very big so I'm gonna do it very slow so you can get a nice bouncy curl wow look at that that is so nice that is so nice I love it it looks so shiny look at that curl it's so bouncy for such a big plate you do get such a bouncy curl okay so I'm gonna go ahead and do a curl on this side with the T3 so I'm just grabbing the hair and just slowly bringing the hair tool down wow look at that wow that is very curly that is like very curly very bouncy look at that curl look at that wow okay I don't even know which side I like more now like what do you guys think which curl do you like better do you like the T3 better or do you like the GHC better I feel like with the GHC since it is a bigger plate you are getting a more loose wave which I actually really like like I kind of like these types of curls a little bit more than these very very tight curls but I like that with the T3 you're able to get very tight curls and if you want to loosen them up you can do that as well so you can kind of have both you can have a very loose curl or a very tight curl but I still feel like this is very tight what do you guys think let me know in the comments down below I really like both of them like both hair tools are so good I will say the GHC I feel like works a little bit better on natural curl texture like if you want to straighten it straight from very curly hair the T3 doesn't really hold your hair that well when it's curly so I noticed that my hair would kind of like slip out from the sides if I would use it on very curly hair so just keep that in mind I never really straighten my hair straight from curly hair maybe only for YouTube videos but on like a regular basis I blow it out first and then use a straightener so this one's perfect for that for me and obviously the GHC as well so yeah guys that is it for this video I liked all the products that I mentioned in this video and I am going to link them down below if you guys want to check them out I definitely recommend checking out these products and definitely take advantage of the savings event anyways thank you again IGK and Sephora for sponsoring this video and I'll see you guys in my next video I love you guys so much bye
