On the wrist of a big hitter like Bubba Watson, it was critical for us to ensure that the RM3802 could withstand shocks of 10,000 G's. The manual winding tourbillon movement is a true technological marvel. Supporting bridges in grade 5 titanium, the base plate is made of carbon TPT. This material is very demanding in terms of machining due to the skeletonization of an incredibly hard material. At only 9.19 mm thick, the engineers paid particular attention to the volume of the calibre to come up with both a strong architectural dimension and the compactness necessary for its shock resistance. The open work bridge incorporates two tubes that pass through the movement on either side. In grade 5 titanium and hand-painted in Bubba's pink, they further accentuate the general lines of the calibre. Wearing a pink watch is a wish close to Bubba's heart from the first day of the partnership. Inside and out, the asymmetrical case is made of carbon TPT and a unique pink and white quartz TPT. It juxtaposes genres that give the watch a unique identity, while the open work bezel provides visual power and accentuates the sportiness of this technical, colourful watch.
