Cardinals, bishops, and pilgrims gathered in the atrium of St. Peter's Basilica
to hear the moment Pope Francis officially announced the Jubilee of 2025.
I hand over the Archbishopric of St. Peter's Basilica to some representatives of the Church
scattered around the world and to the Apostolic Pronototarii,
the ball is often not confused with the indication of the Jubilee of 2025.
The Jubilee of Hope will begin on December 24th
with the opening of the Holy Door in St. Peter's Basilica and end on January 6th, 2026.
